I actually found Jimenez Landscaping after seeing their company trucks driving through the neighborhood and wanted to support a local company for the work. The crew removed all of the dead trees, plants and front fence plus added concrete steps to my steep driveway, removed all of the old rock and weed barrier, and completely redesigned everything with a beautiful new rock pattern and fresh weed barrier installation. What really stood out was Nelson's attention to detail and willingness to work with all of my last-minute changes and ideas without ever making me feel like a burden. He even took the time to drive with me to the nursery and Granite Rock to help pick up additional plants and materials to make sure everything came out exactly how I envisioned it. Nelson and his entire crew were friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. You can tell that they truly care about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. My front yard looks amazing now, and I've already received so many compliments. I even had neighbors doing slow drive-bys telling me how good the yard was looking while the work was being done! I contacted Nelson from Jiminez Landscaping Services to prune a magnolia tree that had grown out of control, remove some very ugly hedges, remove an old tree stump, and plant 2 tall crape myrtle trees that I'd recently purchased. I called and spoke with Nelson, who scheduled an appointment to come provide me with an estimate the very next morning. He arrived right on time, and provided me with a very fair price. Jiminez Landscaping was even able to work around my busy schedule, and provide me with an appointment later on that afternoon. They arrived promptly as scheduled, and immediately got to work. Nelson and his colleague were able to do all of the work I'd hired them for in less than 2 hours. They took all of the limbs, branches, and other rubbish with them. They cleaned up using a blower and other tools. They even went so far as to do a little decorating, arranging some of my landscaping rocks where they had just removed the hedges. But after he came out to check my yard and gave me a reasonable estimate, he suddenly not showed up on the agreed day of service. which was Tuesday. I texted him, no reply. I called him, he said he forgot and thought the appointment was Friday. I mean, come on now. He did agree and texted me that he was gonna do it on Tuesday. Then when I told him that, as a businessman, he shouldn't be doing that, he had the feaking audacity to tell me that he's going to pass because he didn't like what I said. Even though it was the weekend and I live in the mountains, he was at my house in about an hour and gave me a fair quote for landscaping and to haul away dozens of bags of ward waste. He and his helper came by only days later and did a excellent job. He was polite, hard working, showed up at 9 A.M. on the dot, and asked me exactly how I wanted the job done, then did it. I found Nelson Jimenez on line when my previous gardener stopped coming without notice. I have a licensed in-home child care and it is important to keep the yard clean and trim. Nelson showed up right away. The yard never looked better. He also checks the swings and other play equipment for safety each time he comes. And then there was a bad storm and part of my fence blew down. Nelson examined it with me and we determined that this 45 year old fence needed to be replaced. Nelson and his crew did a fantastic job on the new fence and worked on the weekend when the children weren't at my house. His prices are very reasonable.
