I called Jose about a week ago to give me a quote to remove seven pine trees two of which were dangerously close to my home and given the recent storms with rain I was very fearful that any minute they could come crashing down onto my home and create a more devastating situation for me and my family. Prior to calling Jose I had a few other tree service business come out and give me some very high prices to have these trees removed and taken away. These other businesses were not very attentive to my needs they just wanted to come in and speak over me. Jose was very good at letting me speak first and then giving me his feedback on what he thought would be best considering our circumstances. After speaking with Jose we told him that I needed to discuss the matter with my wife and that we would contact him back if we decided to go with him and his crew. What I enjoyed about Jose is that unlike other tree service business he was not pushy and cared about we had to say regarding our trees. After giving it some though we made the decision to hire Jose and his crew and good thing we did because not only was the price just right they also competed the job in a day and a half. Our property looks like as if no one was ever here. Now the dangerous trees our gone and we can sleep in peace when the heavy rains come crashing down on our home this winter. Jose returned our peace of mind back to me and my family. We asked Jose if he could return in the summer to prune our oaks and he said yes. We really enjoyed having Jose and his crew work for us and take care of our tree issues. I recommend Jose and his crew to anyone including my family and friends because he is very reliable and his prices are perfect. He will now also be our regular gardener we were paying an arm and a leg for our previous gardener who would just show up for a few minutes then leave and send us a large invoice every month. Monday I had a downed Monterey pine tree blocking the entrance to my driveway and front door to my residence, so I called Jose and he came out quickly to assess the situation and give me a fair price for the removal of the fallen pine tree. I agreed to the price and terms and had Jose and his staff perform the work. Jose and his guys did a marvelous job with the removal process and needless to say I was more than happy with the work. In the future I now know who to call if I have any more tree problems. Jose and his staff are very careful and considerate of personal belongings surrounding the downed tree causing no damages at all. I just recommended Jose and his staff to my neighbors who also have some tree troubles and I have all the faith in the world that Jose will also be taking care of them the same exact way he did for me. I am so happy to hire the Jose's tree service team to cut down the big Monterey pine tree (over 18 feet) over the front yard and close to my neighbor's house. They are not only the reasonable price, but very professional crew and service. I was worried that the cutting would damage the neighbor's roof, etc, when I told to Jose, who confirmed me that they use the expert climber to cut the tree branches piece-by-piece. With my doubt at the first day, after I saw what a wonderful manual cutting process, it's definitely working at the job site. There are 4 or 5 guy to work together, and synchronously. Although they take 3 days to complete the job, and haul away the trees, and cleaned out the debris. Everything is perfect. I really love what the team did an excellent job! I strongly recommend whoever needs a tree service, check with Jose, who can make the job worry-free. They have the worker comp, and liability insurance to cover an owner's consideration. read more

Opening View- Once again, Lopez is the best, trimming the trees to keep privacy from our neighbors below while giving us the optimal view. The quality of the team and results is unparalleled. my neighbor wanted to try someone else, after weeks of run around with "the other company", they didn't finish AND didn't trim enough off the top to open up the cove for the view. Further, they parked somewhere I explicitly asked them not to, they left water bottles in my neighbors yard. And, didn't have the time to come and see the lack of results for over three weeks. Lopez came and fixed it, no hassle, got it right, commuted well, and respected our goal. My first set of before and after were so good. Yelp initially removed the image. Second, new one shows how Lopez made the cove visible while maintaining my neighbors yard Lopez also brought firewood. They are the best! read more

It feels wonderful to review a contracting experience that you want the world to know about. It was that good. Mike Lopez and crew took down 2 trees the city arborist recommended to go and trimmed another. They did so with not a scratch of damage to the house, fences, (or themselves). And the cleanup job was superb. They cleaned everything: the roof, the sidewalks, the yard, the patio. And they cut us some chunks of trunk that we can use for little seats in the backyard.
