The decor looks very similar to The Local. I had the normal breakfast (don't remember the name of it). It came with eggs, choice of meat, potatoes and toast. The potatoes were chunked up and crispy from the grill. The eggs were light and fluffy. The turkey bacon was delicious and well seasoned. Even the sourdough toast was really good. Had a pretty good tasty breakfast here. The portions are sensible sized. I tried the huevos rancheros (the special). It was pretty good. Service was friendly and prompt. The place got full after 10AM, so going earlier is better, at least on a Sunday morning. They have some cool local paintings on the walls(for sale) that adds some character to the place. The food was absolutely Top Notch and delicious! High level ingredients with organic foods was most appreciated. Real maple syrup (instead of corn syrup pancake syrup) was wonderful! We got a Dutch baby pancake, with yummy lemon curd, The Usual breakfast and for the bread we substituted a huge fluffy biscuit with a side of the absolute best green chili sausage gravy we've ever had and did the loaded potatoes for the side. Cute little spot! Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and got seated right away. Waitress was great and food came out fast. I ordered the avocado toast and it was great. Husband had the bit of everything bowl. It was tasty. My son enjoyed the pancakes. Sourcing the meat from 4k ranchers made all the difference in my burger. The chicken wrap was full of all ingredients needed and a good portion of chicken was in the wrap. The dishes we've had there have been consistently good, flavorful and clearly prepared with care. The interior, though, feels more like a cafeteria than a restaurant charging higher-end prices. The bright plastic chairs, the stark lighting and the overall layout make the space feel casual to the point of cheap. It's a strange disconnect, because the food deserves a setting that feels intentional, warm and inviting. If Milo's ever updated their aesthetic with richer colors, softer lighting and furnishings that feel less like an IKEA checkout lane, the entire dining experience would level up dramatically. Stopped here for breakfast after church. The burrito was excellent. Fluffy eggs, lots of cheddar cheese, potatoes and a perfectly crispy tortilla. When your bill is $44 then you leave and the waitress says, "see you next time" seems like a joke. We both ordered steak and eggs; one medium, one medium rare. Both came out well done. The waitress was friendly and took them back to fix them. The steaks came out done more than the first time. We did not eat any of either of our steaks, only our sweet potatoes, which were amazing, and eggs. She took 15% off of our bill and our drinks off, so we still paid for steaks that were overcooked twice that we didn't touch. We were not offered them done correctly after they came back wrong the second time so we left hungry and still paid $44 for eggs and sweet potatoes. I thought about refusing to pay for something I didn't eat, but I decided to pay for it and just not return. Don't order the steak unless you're wanting it well done. read more

Local Restaurant customers be aware this is not the same as before new owner, new menu. There is nothing remarkable about the change over.....they call them skinny cakes as they are, but its not the same as the same delicate skinny cakes that come with the butter drenched syrup,the breakfast potato's are not mashers they are deep fried,the syrup is not the same as the previous owner. They are copying the same as a dennys restaurant, they will always have the cattle call to feed, but the food, for 2 plates 75$ deep fried tators, two tiny cakes two eggs one latte, one danish. My kitchen cooks, and forget the respite from cooking in your own kitchen the stuff down town Prescott is heading for more restaurants closing cause the customers aren't going to pay for shit food. Milo's restaurant just did a dis service to those in the community who want descent food. Red flag....deep fried breakfast tators, cause it's easy.
