Milo's for breakfast today. This was our first time at Milo's and we decided to give it a try based on feedback from others. Nice clean place with a friendly staff. Our waitress, Regina did a great job with the service and she was very personable. I had the bacon and eggs with the potatoes and an English muffin. Bacon cooked as requested , eggs came out as ordered and the potatoes had a great flavor. The English muffin wasn't what you typically get for breakfast, it was better. The other dish, Skinny Pancakes. They were fantastic. We have not had these since "Cupper's" on Cortez had them on the menu. The decor looks very similar to The Local. I had the normal breakfast (don't remember the name of it). It came with eggs, choice of meat, potatoes and toast. The potatoes were chunked up and crispy from the grill. The eggs were light and fluffy. The turkey bacon was delicious and well seasoned. Even the sourdough toast was really good. My husband had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and ate every bite. He raved about how good it was. The server was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely Top Notch and delicious! High level ingredients with organic foods was most appreciated. Real maple syrup (instead of corn syrup pancake syrup) was wonderful! We got a Dutch baby pancake, with yummy lemon curd, The Usual breakfast and for the bread we substituted a huge fluffy biscuit with a side of the absolute best green chili sausage gravy we've ever had and did the loaded potatoes for the side. Had a pretty good tasty breakfast here. The portions are sensible sized. I tried the huevos rancheros (the special). It was pretty good. Service was friendly and prompt. The place got full after 10AM, so going earlier is better, at least on a Sunday morning. They have some cool local paintings on the walls(for sale) that adds some character to the place. Cute little spot! Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and got seated right away. Waitress was great and food came out fast. I ordered the avocado toast and it was great. Husband had the bit of everything bowl. It was tasty. My son enjoyed the pancakes. We just had lunch here and it was delicious. Our waitress was happy and attentive. Yes this was the local but now it's much better. Sourcing the meat from 4k ranchers made all the difference in my burger. The chicken wrap was full of all ingredients needed and a good portion of chicken was in the wrap. The pastry is from one of the best bakery's around from grandma's. This is a game changer for the breakfast crowd or anyone just stopping in for a coffee and to chill . Great food new owner. genuinely great food, which is why I wish even more that the ambience matched the quality coming out of the kitchen. The dishes we've had there have been consistently good, flavorful and clearly prepared with care. The interior, though, feels more like a cafeteria than a restaurant charging higher-end prices. The bright plastic chairs, the stark lighting and the overall layout make the space feel casual to the point of cheap. It's a strange disconnect, because the food deserves a setting that feels intentional, warm and inviting. If Milo's ever updated their aesthetic with richer colors, softer lighting and furnishings that feel less like an IKEA checkout lane, the entire dining experience would level up dramatically. The quality of the food is already there; the atmosphere just needs to catch up. Great food, cafeteria ambience. Hoping they lean into a design that reflects how good their menu really is. read more

Our waitress was very caring and honest with us when the kitchen ran out of one item. She was very accommodating to make sure that we loved the substitute that we chose. Went for breakfast... it was wayyy more than I could eat! Had eggs, turkey bacon, French toast & the potatoes (were like chopped French fries)! It was great! Stopped here for breakfast after church. The burrito was excellent. Fluffy eggs, lots of cheddar cheese, potatoes and a perfectly crispy tortilla. I got the red sauce on the side and enjoyed it along with the pico. The potatoes were extra crispy and tasted like fries rather than traditional breakfast potatoes. The coffee was dark and smooth. While the servers are clearly hard working, there are not enough to serve the full dining room. Several of the things we asked for like waters and a side dish never came. We saw other people walking out after not getting any service. The food was fine. read more

When your bill is $44 then you leave and the waitress says, "see you next time" seems like a joke. We both ordered steak and eggs; one medium, one medium rare. Both came out well done. The waitress was friendly and took them back to fix them. The steaks came out done more than the first time. We did not eat any of either of our steaks, only our sweet potatoes, which were amazing, and eggs. She took 15% off of our bill and our drinks off, so we still paid for steaks that were overcooked twice that we didn't touch. We were not offered them done correctly after they came back wrong the second time so we left hungry and still paid $44 for eggs and sweet potatoes. I thought about refusing to pay for something I didn't eat, but I decided to pay for it and just not return. Don't order the steak unless you're wanting it well done. read more
