The young man with curly hair and glasses looks around and says the inside was also full. Two strikes but understandable, so I asked to sit in the bar area and he directed us to sit at the end of a long table with the high back chairs. It was odd that he did not follow us with menus and after sitting there for 10 minutes unattended and ignored by the bar staff, we could see and the guy who told us to sit down and bar staff talking and pointing at us. Then he sheepishly approached our table and introduced himself like it was our first interaction and in singsong voice said "Good Evening, how are you two doing? Can I ask if you can move to one of the smaller tables with metal stools?" Strike Three and we got up feeling frustrated and ignored and walked out. We always have had quality food and attentive service in the past, but tonight it wasn't meant to be and after being treated poorly by the staff, sadly, it may be awhile before we return.

Before my first visit, it had probably been ten years since I'd had meatloaf. Now this sandwich has changed the rules. It will knock your socks off. The bread is excellent, the flavors are rich and satisfying, and the whole thing tastes like comfort food done right. Great food, great beer, and my only complaint is that I wish they had a growler refill service. Good eating, nice friendly place.

Very busy for good reason. They have an outdoor bar and waiting area. Dogs are permitted on leash there, yay, but so is disgusting SMOKING. So be aware of that toxicity. Lots of cigars and cigarettes. Hard to avoid. Their servers are very cool and friendly. Dave took our order, offered advice, and also was able to light the outdoor tower heater next to our table. Brews and ciders were tasty. Chicken wings rock! Friend had a chicken sandwich that was stacked this high !!! Highly recommend this pub. Great overall feel...though they really need a designated smoking area...c'mon guys...its 2026. 2nd hand smoke kills and stinks. For this major drawback, it did not get 5 stars...
