Dr. Frame and the entire staff are both efficient and professional, as well as being open and willing to address any questions and needs. This is the first time I've been there, and already I feel comfortable and committed to staying with them. Today I finished the process of cataract surgeries in both eyes over two months, which had begun with the above paragraph entry. I originally sought Dr. Frame because he was in Milwaukee Magazine's Best Milwaukee Doctors article, and I made the right decision. One of his colleagues even referred to him as "the magician" during an appointment. He's a man of few words, but it's not extra conversation I wanted from him. I was seeing 20/20 out of each eye the day after each surgery. Magic? Maybe, but more likely an elite skill level. Almost as important was the fact that the Milwaukee Eye Care staff is outstanding in every regard. All are welcoming, and all obviously know what they're doing at a high level. They're patient and thorough with answering questions. If a little something doesn't work right, they find a solution. The surgery center (not the Milwaukee Eye Care staff) had a scheduling glitch on the first surgery and Dr. Frame's staff handled my concerns with the utmost professionalism. They took as much time as I needed to get everything right, which was absolutely essential to me when someone was operating on my eyes. Jimmy in the department that makes lenses and sells frames even fit my new lenses to existing frames that I like, and then he adjusted the frames so they sat just right even though they've got some mileage on them. Gave 3 FULL days of availability for a 5 min procedure over four weeks out and they could not accommodate after three previous visits. Sadly I don't have a lifetime to wait for this doc in a box read more

Waited over an hour to have my child seen. "Check In" employee very rude. They should not add to their schedule if they cannot accommodate appointments. read more

Very disappointed in the care I received here. Upon arrival to my appointment I filled out the normal paperwork and then waited.. and waited.. and waited.. I then was called back and completed normal pre testing for appointment. However, it was 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment was when I finally saw the Dr. She seemed rushed, hurried, and seemed to want to get me in and out. Granted, it was a Friday afternoon but I still shouldn't have felt like this. I felt like me asking any questions bothered her. She deflected many of my questions and said "well I'll have to ask a colleague about that" and said she'd call me back in a week "or so" when they received my records from my previous doctor and could answer more then. So I waited a week. Then 2 Weeks. On the 3rd week I called on Tuesday and was told the Dr. would return my call first thing the next day. No call on Wednesday. Finally on Friday i had enough and called them. Supposedly she was just going to call me! (yeah sure she was). She really didn't have many answers for me then either. Just that everything looks fine and looks same as did before. I'm glad she was able to review what my other Dr. did and repeat what he had told me in the past. She then stated that if I wanted to spend another $300 they could start the process of me getting fitted for new contacts. Mind you, not the price of the contacts, just to start the process. I said no thank you, I will do that elsewhere, and to please send me a prescription for my glasses. She said would get in the mail that day. Imagine my surprise it took a week to receive said prescription. I live less than 10 miles from the office. If she mailed it that day there's no way it took a full week to get to me. My mistake there, I should have stopped in the office. But I didn't have 45 minutes to wait again. I then did not have my new glasses for a trip I was taking, and that disappointed me. This was a full month after my appointment before I received this prescription. In my opinion that is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and will find a different eye dr. read more
