How the staff responds to these situations is what separates the superior business from the average or less-than-average. I also understand that you can't please everyone 100% of the time (especially those who may have overly high expectations). Today I finished the process of cataract surgeries in both eyes over two months, which had begun with the above paragraph entry. I originally sought Dr. Frame because he was in Milwaukee Magazine's Best Milwaukee Doctors article, and I made the right decision. One of his colleagues even referred to him as "the magician" during an appointment. He's a man of few words, but it's not extra conversation I wanted from him. I was seeing 20/20 out of each eye the day after each surgery. Magic? Maybe, but more likely an elite skill level. Almost as important was the fact that the Milwaukee Eye Care staff is outstanding in every regard. All are welcoming, and all obviously know what they're doing at a high level. They're patient and thorough with answering questions. If a little something doesn't work right, they find a solution. The surgery center (not the Milwaukee Eye Care staff) had a scheduling glitch on the first surgery and Dr. Frame's staff handled my concerns with the utmost professionalism. They took as much time as I needed to get everything right, which was absolutely essential to me when someone was operating on my eyes. Jimmy in the department that makes lenses and sells frames even fit my new lenses to existing frames that I like, and then he adjusted the frames so they sat just right even though they've got some mileage on them. While it is a lovely store with a wide selection of stylish frames, the people who work there couldn't be nicer and down-to-earth. I was surprised that pricing of the frames are similar to many chain stores. So many styles, but luckily I had a great navigator to help find the perfect frame for me!
