My experience with Bryant & Stratton College was horrible that I dropped out of nursing school;…read morethey are a for profit private college, so they're expensive. When you purchase their books online, it is crazy expensive; even Financial Aid isn't enough to pay for it. And if you don't buy the books for your classes, it takes points off for a good grade EVEN THOUGH almost every class has power points made by the teachers that are directly created from the books themselves. They also do not buy the books back like most colleges, and you will end up in debt for the rest of your life attending this school; even if it's only for 2 years. I only stayed at that school for 2 and 1/2 weeks; they charged me about $3,000 for dropping out. The educational work wasn't hard at all; it was the people that worked at that school that made life difficult and a living hell, I knew so many people who went there and dropped out or didn't even last for a month, as well as those that did graduate and still would not recommend that college. They had a class where you had to specifically make 100% on a math test with only 3 tries, and automatically fail the whole class if you don't pass it. When you chat with their staff online, what they say is completely different from the staff at school; their teachers are also horrible at teaching, they give you assignments and expect you to do the work without their assistance after teaching nothing about the material. They also have strict rules about attending extra classes despite your life outside of school, whether it's work or children, and if you don't attend them, you automatically fail the classes. You are better off attending a cheaper and local/technical college; save your money and time, DO NOT GO HERE.

The financial aid department at this school is by far the worst of any school I've attended…read more They're always losing your paperwork, can never properly submit any paperwork timely or correctly, takes forever to respond back to you, but if you owe them any bit of money, they're on you like a debt collector. Funny how my financial aid officer hasn't responded to me in a week, but when I owed $200, she was calling me 10-12 times a day. They're not financial aid officers; they're debt collectors. The school curriculum is a joke. They say that the school is geared towards he working class but there's no way a person working a full time job can keep up with 2 classes a semester. I average over 40 hours a week in coursework for 2 classes. Any time I talk about this issue, I'm constantly given excuses by the school and that I basically need to suck it up. For 40 hours a week, I can go to a UW school or MATC full-time, have less school work and pay significantly less than what Kaplan is charging. Bottom line is this....Kaplan is a for profit school and all they care about is your money. They don't care if you fail a class because you'll just have to pay to take it again. They could care less about your life because as long as they are getting paid, that's all that matters. Do yourself a favor and hit up MATC or UWM. They offer online classes, they're reputable and you won't be paying a fortune.

All I want is to graduate. I am on the honer society and was a 4.0 student for two years at Kaplan I am short the exact amount to graduate that they promised me. What type of school would do this to a student?

Guards at the entrance were nice and helpful. They pointed us downstairs to the galleries. Which were empty: we didn't see anyone else our whole visit. The art was of various media, from painting, costumes, sculpture, videos, comics, and more. Something for everyone. And you can't beat the price. Though you do have to put some money in the meter. Took us about 40 minutes. Definitely a place to visit, with or without kids. Check on their site to see when they have exhibitions and what they are showing.
