While there are a couple of low reviews from people that had scheduling issues after buying a Groupon massage, their views of Milwaukee Reiki are not at all representative of the company and how they treat their clients. I've had 2 Groupon massages and a gift certificate massage, and each was a great experience. Jeffery is the only person at Milwaukee Reiki I have had the pleasure of interacting with. He has both scheduled and performed all of my massages. He is warm, kind and before each massage sits down with you to discuss what you'd like him to work on so he can best address any aches and pains you are experiencing. He is incredibly skilled at manual massage, and is also well versed in other massage techniques like cupping. I have nothing but good things to say about Jeffery and Milwaukee Reiki! I bought a Groupon for this place to enjoy a massage after the end of a stressful semester with 2 jobs. I reached out multiple times starting December 6th and they have not gotten back to me and I truly do not appreciate it. They have their read receipts on so I can see that they are reading my messages and not responding. It's very rude and I've essentially wasted my money since Groupon does not refund. Now I am out of $69 because they want to be unprofessional. I'm sure the massager is great and I heard wonderful things (which is why I wanted to go) but whoever takes their appointments needs to be spoken to or fired because this is unacceptable. They say booking by text is the fastest and that you will receive a response within 24 hours but these screenshots say otherwise. It was an amazing feeling that after the massage I had I didn't feel heavy or more sore. I felt better after the massage actually. Since I'm very busy at work and stressed and always tensed up my body and muscles are tense too. But with the massage I had today with being carefully hit all the areas ..I am ready again to work. I had to send a follow up text later to remind someone to respond. In their scheduling response, they emphasize that people using Groupons still must tip. Maybe they've been burned but it didn't start me off in a "calm" state. Anyway, upon arrival, Sarah was very warm and polite. She asked specific questions about my massage preferences and goals. She created a very calm atmosphere and was appropriately communicative, although talking was minimal in the quiet environment. I've only had a few massages in the past but she definitely demonstrated the most technique and skill. I would definitely return to see Sarah! Also, heads up when planning your tip to be based on the regular price, the regular price listed on Groupon is inflated and higher than the regular prices. Good to know for future visits, but I ended up tipping 33% on the non-discount base price of $60 since I based my tip on the regular price of $100 listed on the Groupon. Not a huge deal but if this matters to you, I'd ask for the base price prior to tipping. read more

Never have I been treated so poorly. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. My appointment did not get booked in their system. When I arrived I waited for over 15 minutes ringing the doorbell to be let into the office. Eventually another business owner from a neighboring business let me in. Jeffrey was very rude once he finally came to the reception area and told me to just cancel my appointment with no apology for my time waiting. He should learn how to treat customers being a business owner but obviously has no idea what customer service means which is odd because massage therapy is a consumer driven business. I found a Groupon for a 60 min message and a 90 min couple's message/class. I met with Laura from Milwaukee Reiki on both occasions and she is wonderful!!! She made you feel comfortable and the atmosphere she has in her room is so calming and zen. After the first 60 min. message, I knew that I would be back. I bought the 90 min couple's message and brought my husband back, his first time having a message, and we loved it! She has so much knowledge and was wonderful conveying that knowledge to us! I'm sure you are looking in to this business for a relaxing experience but my experience was far from that. I noticed from their GOOGLE reviews that they treat Groupon customers differently. I am unable to post a review on the Groupon site because I actually never got to use the service. This why their review on Groupon is high because people who don't receive the service aren't able to review them. I left a review on Facebook and the owner bullied and insulted me in a series of replies. I tried to post my screenshots because he deleted many of the really abusive comments but it won't work. He also has another Facebook page****On Dec 2018, I tried to book an appointment to use my Groupon with no response. The first time I called, they said they were closed and I should email to schedule or they would call me back....emailed twice after that with no response. In the response below, the owner provides no explanation on why they do not respond to a customer after 3 times of that customer reaching out to schedule an appointment. It is fraud to collect funds and intentionally not provide the service. Extremely disappointed in the amount of time wasted and now Groupon is trying to give me a 'trade in' instead of a full refund which will take more time opening up a case in BBB, with my Credit Card and Dept of Consumer Affairs to get this issue resolved. No where in the owner's response does he address why the business never responded to 3 times trying to contact them. Terrible experience. I had purchased a deal off of Groupon for 2 massages... it took almost 2 weeks of repeated calls and texts to book an appointment. Once I got in to have the massage, it was an awkward experience. The room had stuff used from a previous cupping session on a table in the room. The massage therapist was too firm with their pressure despite being told to ease up. At the end of the session, the therapist ensured that I'd be booked with a different therapist that provided lesser pressure. When I called back a few days prior to my appointment to ensure my therapist was changed for the next appointment, it wasn't. At that point, I just decided to cut my losses and not return. read more

The lights we on, so I waited 15 minutes thinking they were in the bathroom, or had stepped out. No one ever came. I left voice messages, and no one called me back. The next day I get a hold of someone, and she promised someone would call me back that day - they did not. I called yesterday, and was promised a call back from the manager, Jeffrey; I'm still waiting for that call. I reached out to Groupon for a refund. Very unprofessional.
