Duluth, with its heavy domination of chains and strip malls, does need more places like this. While heavily dominated by women's clothing mostly within the "affordable quality" price range of $50-$100, there is also a decent section dedicated to small local items such as Georgia Bulldogs coasters, mugs, a few books and of course, artwork with Lake Lanier on it. Admittedly, many of those items are not something I would personally ever purchase, but they are there and could make a good souvenir for somebody visiting the state. They are certainly more tasteful than a gift shop and largely tailor towards suburban demographic that surrounds it. The staff were friendly in this little shop and the design is neat. All around, a pleasant local business that adds to the character of the neighborhood and is a pleasure to support.

I ended up buying a beautiful blue Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent dress, which is probably my favorite dress ever, and I've received SO many compliments! I wasn't planning on getting anything when I walked in, but when I came out with that dress, I was pretty darn happy! The woman who was working there that day was very pleasant and super friendly. There seems to be a lot of regulars and I would say that the clientele is stylish-upper-middle-class-pretty-clothes-loving ladies. Came in to try them on and purchase but needed a size bigger which a lot of the stores were all sold out. I thought I would leave purchasing the sandals but N'Tara too the rescue. She asked if she wanted me to check the other stores and she quickly found me a store that had one. Due to the quick and easy transaction and great service I received from them both I ended up walking out with two additional shirts that I've been eyeing. The only thing I wish is they would close later than 7 pm on weeknights. Definitely shop this Dress Up location. Everything is pretty reasonably priced and they have all the latest styles on deck. They got regular weekly shipments of new clothes. This boutique has everything from accessories such as hats and jewelry to tops, dresses, and pants as well as seasonal shoes/sandals.
