In fact, I was so impressed by their personable, thoughtful and accommodating approach, I had them simultaneously renovate two additional bathrooms in addition to the laundry/utility room and bathroom in the basement. I have had increasing challenges with rheumatoid arthritis and Dave Taghipour, the owner, and Oksana, the designer, listened carefully to my current obstacles in these spaces and worked with me to develop beautiful, accessible, spaces where form follows function. Their showroom has a wide variety of samples, but they are also flexible about incorporating clients' specific choices. Compared to other design/install companies in the area, they are far less costly and finished all 4 spaces within the initial timeframe they had initially quoted and kept me updated throughout the renovation. The Eco workers are very reliable, friendly and respectful of the clients' space and belongings. Not only did they cover and vent all work areas, they cleaned and tidied up every night and Eco had my house professionally cleaned at the end of the work. I could go on and on about how impressed I am with All Eco and their work, but the final pictures say it all. I love showing off my gorgeous bathrooms and laundry room, which, because All Eco put additional effort into listening and understanding my specific needs/challenges given my disabilities, has made daily use of these space worlds easier for me. And seven years later, i still smile whenever i walk into my All Eco renovated kitchen and master bath, both of which have remained easy for me to navigate despite a considerable decline in my physical function thanks to All Eco's compassionate attention to my specific needs during the design and build. Extremely professional workmanship, custom design to include accessibility features…read more I was hesitant to do this project (full redo of 2 bathrooms), as I was concerned about disturbing the integrity of our 1950's-built home. But as the saying goes, "happy wife, happy life," or "happy spouse, happy house." After receiving several quotes, we decided to select All Eco Design Center as our contractor due to the customization features we could select, their extensive knowledge of homes in our area, and seeing some of their previous work. We started the process by sending some inspiration pictures to Oksana (designer) and Dave (owner). Our goal for this project was to maintain the structural integrity of the house and update the bathrooms while maintaining the character of the house and incorporating accessibility features without looking too clinical. After a few design sessions, Oksana and Dave captured our design via 3D model, and proposed some recommendations. I appreciated that Dave's company is a full-service operation, with teams specializing in tile, plumbing, electrical, drywall/finishing, etc. Yuri the project manager was also very attentive and thorough. Each employee's craftsmanship showed they were invested in completing the job as if they were doing it for their own home. As no construction project goes without some minor complications, it is noteworthy that this team is accessible and timely to deal with any unexpected events, ensuring the project is completed to the customer's vision. From the start, Tile Center made this piece of our process easy and pleasant, and we love the outcome. As project manager, Joe was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He came to our house very quickly after our initial outreach, returned later with grout samples, and walked us through options at the showroom. He always responded quickly to emails and texts. He helped us navigate tile shortages and advised us when we needed to order from a third party. Thomas, the installer, was also fantastic. His work is beautiful, and on top of that, he was just incredibly lovely to be around. He not only tolerated, but was awesomely kind to, our very loud and unhelpful dog! He also went above and beyond dealing with various issues that arose. James, who came on one of the days, was also great. On top of everything else, we really appreciated how both Joe and Thomas worked things out so that we could live in the house throughout the installation. That was really helpful as far as both hassle and the potential extra cost of lodging. We got porcelain wood-look tiles, and we really like the outcome (see picture). 100% recommend.

Side note I had calls from two different people and two different numbers to follow up. I had no idea who I was supposed to call back so I decided to come to the store. I walked in and was not greeted. So I walked up to the counter. The man just stared at me so I said I'd like to look at kitchen flooring. He was so short and condescending to me. I watched as other customers got in depth explanations of the differences in styles and thickness etc. they were even taken to desks to talk. He didn't say follow me. He just turned and walked to the counter so I assumed I was to follow. I was taken back to the counter and in a scene from a used car salesman he pounded on the calculator for what felt like forever and then said oh it will be this much. It was such a high number from the estimate I had gotten from them and from other companies. I said can you explain the price break down. He seemed so mad that I asked. Then I tried to look at his paper and in the corner in small print was some calculations. He couldn't explain what he was using for the prices and blamed it all on tariffs. I said ok and started to walk away. He didn't care. He made a face. Actually the whole time I tried to engage him he would make a face and move his hands in a " I don't know what's going on fashion". It wasn't overt but it was there. I had measurements in to their system so clearly I was there to make a purchase. I just can't believe bow I was treated. I mean I stood and listen to the other salesman while this jerk went to start his complex math calculations and they were explaining thickness and differences. I learned a few things actually. From this guy I learned that my money can go elsewhere and I'm not buying a used car so I don't need to be jerked around like this. I really wanted to support local but after this I will not. I should go back and ask for the manager owner whoever but I don't think I'll waste my time.

The stars were finally aligned when we met Dan, owner of American Kitchen Concepts, Inc. He was highly recommended by a neighbor, and he lived up to the stellar recommendation. We met Dan in his office wherein we made design plans and chose from the varied, quality cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, and hardware on hand. Dan gave us wonderful ideas, that we never would have thought possible, had we designed the project on our own. Then came the hard part, the actual demolition and reconstruction. Dan's right hand man for this project was the highly skilled Cameron, a brillant carpenter and electrician. The scope of this project included removing two soffits and elongating one; electrical upgrading; removal of old and installation of new appliances, countertops, cabinetry, sink, faucet, disposal, and lighting; backsplash install; drywall install, repair and painting. Cameron was meticulous, professional, kept the worksite clean with daily sweepup and vacuuming. Cameron's attention to detail was highly appreciated. He treated our home as if it was his own. Dan and Cameron communicated effectively together and with us along this journey. In six weeks time, our kitchen was transformed from a 1980's look to one that is better than cool and modern. We love waking up everyday to our new kitchen and spending time in this room. If you are thinking about a kitchen remodel, don't hesitate to consider American Kitchen Concepts, Inc. Our project initially started as an involved kitchen remodel (demo down to the studs and moving two doors) in a c. 1900 house, however, it ultimately involved far more than the kitchen. Over the course of our remodel we developed a strong trust in the crew and their assessments- at multiple points there were things (not related to their work) that they could have covered up, been paid and moved on to their next paying job leaving us with a nasty surprise years down the line (eg failing joists/support beams). Instead, Dan and his crew slowed down their project to take the time to walk my wife and me through the potential implications of findings, the solutions (which may or may not have involved them) and then allowed us to properly address each issue before continuing the kitchen project. Even beyond the trust, which is so important in an involved project, American Kitchen Concepts craftsmanship and attention to details was exemplary leaving us with a beautiful, transformed first floor of our house! We cannot wait to show it off. Finally, in regard to one previous review, I clearly cannot speak to their experience but I can assure you that Dan and Cameron (the lead at our house and, independently, fantastic) clearly knew each other very well, trusted each other's professional judgement and worked as one seamless team.

The project manager, Jason, was on site every 2-3 days to ensure the work was proceeding as discussed. He was easily reachable by phone during the entire project. VKB was able to place 2 teams on site which allowed the work to be completed in 4.5 weeks instead of 6-7 weeks which would have been normal. The team lead on site, Walter, was easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable on all aspects of the project (demolition, prep, electrical, plumbing, fixtures, paint, etc.). He has an excellent team of workers that rotated across the various tasks in each bathroom. My wife and I were very pleased at the finished results. Everything came together very nicely. We would highly recommend VKB for your bathroom remodeling. With that said, I offer a few suggestions for potential clients to consider. Customers should make sure they know exactly what they want to do. While change orders can be made after the project is started, it costs more than if the project scope was defined from the beginning. Also, I recommend looking at www.build.com to pre-select the fixtures that are needed prior to scheduling the meeting with the designer. Trying to select all the fixtures for the bathroom within 60-90 minutes in the showroom can be challenging.

I am currently in the bathroom remodel process with VKB and every day I regret my decision. But no…read moreone responds to my emails, texts or survey responses, so I will share them here in the hopes that no one has to go through the stress of working with this unethical company. The showroom is nice, but I immediately had doubts that my designer was a "designer." She later told me she was a promoted project manager, which then made sense. When I met my project manager, he promised daily communication, daily trash removal and check-ins as we went to make sure everything was going correctly. I have not gotten any of that. I have subcontractors that do not speak a word of English. Nada. I speak some Spanish but true communication is very difficult. I never know when the crew will arrive or if they will even arrive. They have shown up without notification at random hours during the day when I have not been home and have entered without my permission. Even after I requested they stop doing that, it continued. They were so careless with the demo of the upstairs bathroom that they split my dining room ceiling open below and cracked the bookshelf in my office next door from their pounding (see photos). Trash has piled up in my driveway for more than a week on the regular. My project manager, Samuel, gets in touch when he feels like it and drops out when he doesn't want to deal with problems. There is NO contact information available for anyone higher up than your project manager and when your project manager is the problem, there is no recourse. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a home improvement company and along with the other here and on Reddit, I will make it my mission that VKB discontinues what essentially amounts to scamming customers with a list of promises they don't intend to keep. I have already paid them 2/3 of the job and they haven't even done enough work to warrant 1/3 of the money months into the project. (I have near daily documentation to back these claims up.) Please do yourself a huge favor and avoid going anywhere near VKB.

My husband and I were extremely satisfied when we used BR Flooring in September, 2015 to do our…read morehardwood floors, so when we had a crisis situation in August of this year after a kitchen sink leak, we contacted BR Flooring again to see if they could get the job done! Now, our insurance company had hired a company to repair our hardwood kitchen floors, but after ripping the floor apart, and having us wait for weeks without any progress being made in repairing the floor and other repairs that were needed to be made as a result of the water damage, we contacted our insurance company, and asked if we could get our own contractors. After getting their approval, we contacted Marco of BR Flooring, and the rest is history! Our hardwood floors look superb! The contractors the insurance company had hired had made a true mess in our kitchen, and said they wanted to replace the entire hardwood floor throughout our first level; however, Marco and his team repaired the damaged area, sanded the floors, stained the floors, applied three coats of polyurethane, and finished the floor with a sealant! The floor looks better than it has ever looked before! We can't give Marco and his team enough credit for the superb job they did! We highly recommend BR Flooring--they are GREAT! Another thing, we had searched and searched for an individual/a company to replace our kitchen cabinet that was damaged as a result of the water damage, but we kept running into a brick wall. We spoke with at least five to six people who we thought could help, but time after time we ended up in the same situation. We only needed one cabinet, but individuals wanted to replace all of our kitchen cabinets. One company even suggested that we remodel the entire kitchen, even though the entire kitchen didn't need remodeling. Again, Marco and his team helped us! Marco and his team were able to get our custom-made cabinet, install it, install our granite countertop, and get everything in our kitchen back to its normal state. I don't know what we would have done if Marco and his team had not helped us. Everything looks great! We highly recommend BR Flooring/Marco and his team, because they really came through for us!
