He does great work but doesn't seem to back it up and does not respond and provide excellent customer care.

We can't speak highly enough about our experience with Gus and Bruno. - Great communication: timely, responsive, kind, thorough, and professional - Dependable: Showed up on time for estimate, pointed out needs and thoughtful additions (like re-grouting where necessary, and sealing by the sink) - Cost competitive: We received 4 quotes, and GW Stonecare was right in the middle, but included many more touches/services (like grout, etc) and throughout the process instilled confidence that they know what they're doing (not the case with other companies with whom we engaged) - Easy/pleasure to deal with: When we made changes to the planned approach and what we wanted to do, they responded over email about how they would accommodate the change, and any impacts - Skilled and honest: walked us through exactly what was possible, and where they would make a good faith effort to fix something that might not be repairable with polishing. -Deliver what they promise: hope the pics speak for themselves, but our kitchen and wet bar look great again, thanks to them. We requested an entire makeover of the first and second floor. The design was fairly good. We spent…read morea lot of time with Tanya going over the design and mostly wound up where we wanted to be. I agree with the other 3 star review person. None of the workers doing the construction work for Dfine. In fact one of them told us no habla ingles, indicating he only spoke Spanish. Highly suggest you find any other firm to do the actual construction. I've never had an issue with Brothers Services or Tim Kyle Electric. If you want the job done right you need a firm that has employees who are vested in the project results and speak English. Dfine's use of contractors that don't work for Dfine is a mistake from the outset. We had delays and eventually had to negotiate a final payment since not all work contracted for was completed or some services were overpriced after checking with other firms. And some work for which I requested a quote so I could check with another firm was simply done without providing a quote for which I had to pay extra for. And Ahmet, while an owner, was never a project manager. In fact there was no project manager watching over daily work. Allied Remodeling at least offers that, where one of the owners reviews the daily work and any communications. I did eventually outsource some of the work to trusted firms like Tim Kyle and Anderson Windows. Did I pay more? Yes. Did I get the work that I expected? Yes. If Dfine somehow convinces you to go with their work crew, insist that David is the primary person who deals with the work. Still not a project manager, but a cut above the rest of what they have to offer. Anyone else is a joke. The design work done by Dfine was thoughtful. The construction could have been much better. And a word about what you think you want. Marble on any part of the remodel looks great. It is however cold as hell to the touch. In the kitchen during winter the counter tops are always cold. And try backing into a cold wall in the shower. It can be shocking. You may want to consider alternatives. There are plenty of firms that can get work done in a day without using marble. My upgrade from the 1960s was better than it was. Not perfect.

Today my anxiety was high as the many options out there for kitchen cabinets (wall, island and wall), countertops, countertop continuance in lieu of back splash and on is abundant. I had set my mind on one color but entering this store again but not when it was closed allowed for a more open mind to view the models. Of course it would not be me if I didnt make another selection of color choice in cabinet color. I was then paired with Laura whom was beyond helpful. With a few of my many questions she asked Mike about somethings. Mike stated to me, you came in here the last time as he remembered me and said she saw and confirmed the cabinet she wanted right away. Mike knew that part and was confirming to me to not get too confused and stick with what stood out for me. I still liked the Pebble Cabinets but like the darker of the Greige as well. With Laura assisting we then was able to narrow down 3 countertops and get quotes. I appreciate their assistance, patiences and kindness during my project stressing of selecting the cabinets and other portions thats necessary for the 2nd phase of my kitchen remodel project. The cabinets seem very reasonable in cost however they are not able to do a customizations like a few other kitchen remodel stores.

Salesman Bulent, Satyr Hill Shopping Center E Joppa RD…read more I had been looking and pricing cabinet on line and in person for over a month and had decided on RTA unfinished cabinets from HD. I was in Satyr Hill Shopping Center on E Joppa RD. for lunch after visiting HD in shopping center next store and saw a new cabinet store a few doors away. I stopped in and was immediately greeted by Bulent. I explained that cost was a big factor in my selection and believed that he could not even get close to the price I already had from HD for unfinished ready to assemble cabinets, Bulent indicated he had time and was willing to take a look if I had time. He took my existing design drawings; I had made and he entered into his system and made a great rendering for me to see, then he had some great ideas and made some suggestions on improvements that I thought would add extra cost. The first price was much higher than HD but he suggested another selection of cabinets that did not have as many color choices but something close (wife needed to approve) The new price was close and they came assembled and painted saving me some back-end cost. Went home discussed color with my wife she agreed that this would be a good option, next day I went back and placed order expecting a long delivery. Few weeks latter they call to set up delivery I asked them to hold a few weeks and they did without any problems. Delivery was good and units were inspected and repackaged before delivery, all in great condition. First problem came up and here is where a company fails or shines. I had a small problem with shelving and Bulent jumped on the problem like they were his cabinets, he kept in contact with me every day to resolve the problem and did not stop until the problem was resolved to my complete satisfaction. I was ecstatic with his resolution; this is the mark of a good salesman and company. This company shines. I spent most of my life in customer support and a small problem resolved is great way to show pride in the company. Quality of the cabinets is great, fronts, backs, sides and shelving are all real wood, not particle board. In this case they are being used as storage in my master bedroom where I do not expect them to be in contact with water so I could have used MDF but wood is so much nicer. Great salesman, great company and product, now they even added large screen in their showroom so you can see your design in progress. Highest recommendation, I do not do this often. Bill seemed very informative and detailed with reasonable rates. He arrived to our home before us the day of the inspection. He went through the whole inspection with me while explaining every step. He offered suggestions for the future and now. Bill answered all my questions and was very attentive. I can tell that Bill loves his job and has so much knowledge. After the inspection and radon test results he sent us a detailed report with pictures. But what I like the most about Bill is after everything was done he asked me what he could do to improve. The cabinet quality is superb and the countertops beautiful. The cabinet delivery personnel went above and beyond to allow us to still move about in our space during the renovation. The countertop installers were seamless and made sure the pattern matched completely at the seams. We love the upgrade to our space and the ability to hold all of our kitchen items. We would definitely use them again and recommend to family and friends.
