We represent the King Farm 2 Phase 3 Condominium Association, located at 531 Lawson Way in Rockville, Maryland. We want to compliment and thank Aladdin Carpet and Floors of Rockville for the outstanding job performed for us in 2023 in recarpeting a substantial part of our four-floor condominium building. In particular, we would like to commend David Naghibi, Aladdin's sales manager, who met and communicated with our planning committee numerous times, for his professionalism and courtesies extended to us in overseeing and supervising the installation of the carpet in our condominium building. The large size of the project required Mr. Naghibi to come out several times to meet with the members of our redesign committee, and to work with us in arriving at a suitable contract. His courteous and patient demeanor, together with his knowledge and skill in educating us on various carpet choices, were very much appreciated. In the summer of 2023, Aladdin's installation crew arrived as scheduled and worked efficiently and professionally over a five-day period. They carefully inspected and, if needed, repaired the subfloor prior to laying the carpet, with a minium of disruption to residents. The crew was also extremely attentive to seamlessly match the wavy design of the carpet throughout our hallways. The project was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of the Board of Directors. To date, the carpet looks as good as the date is was laid, and there have been no complaints. Extremely poor customer service and communication once contract and initial payment were received. No response to phone calls or voicemail messages so we physically went back to the store several times. We spoke with Nezam Modjarrad, Henry Ziaolhagh, and Eddie Tirani. Each would promise to follow up but did not. We found out that there was a delay with getting the flooring we wanted but only because we kept checking back with them. We had questions following the installation. Again several calls, texts and visits to the store. They did not follow up and to date there has been no response. On a related note, the installers were amazing. They arrived at the times they stated, cleaned up every day, and were extremely polite. They addressed concerns we shared in a very timely manner. Our positive interactions with the installers were in stark contrast with the negative interactions we had with the individuals in the showroom. read more

We were looking to get our carpets changed and came across a flooring brochure in Costco while shopping there. We contacted Costco and they scheduled a free consultation . On the day of consultation Majid our consutlant came by. He was very professional and had so much knowledge of their different products. He was never in a hurry and took his time going through all of the options and their different products. He then went around the house meticulously measuring every room and took his time doing so. He gave us our quote for the project and also explained how things would be before, during and after installation. He also informed us of the specials that costco was having and the rebates. He never forced us into any contract and just gave us his card and said to contact him when we were ready. Because of his professionalism we decided to go with Aladdin carpet. On the day of installation there were 3 carpet installers who came on time. They were very professional and finished the work before the scheduled time. They made sure we were happy with the installation before they left. And they cleaned everything up and took the old carpets. I had a really great experience with Aladdin. I wanted to put carpet in almost every room in the house, and I had visited a couple other flooring places before going to Aladdin. Sasan showed me all of their samples, and really worked with me to hone in on something that would work for my situation (kids, no pets, long-lasting, wouldn't mat down after extended use, etc.). The other places kind of left me on my own. Sasan must have spent at least an hour with me going over each sample and understanding what I was looking for. He also gave me big sample boards to take home to make the decision easier. Aladdin primarily works with Stainmaster carpets from what I can tell. They strongly believe in them, and after talking to Sasan and doing some research myself, I decided to trust in that belief. Their installation crew was top-notch, ripping out and installing about 1,300 square feet of carpet in a day. Soon after the carpet was installed, I noticed a small discolored dot on the carpet in one of the rooms. At first I let it go, but after awhile, I couldn't. It was staring me in the face every time I entered the room. Sasan came back to the house, took some photos, called Stainmaster, called the carpet manufacturer, and got me connected to a "fixer" of sorts, who studied the carpet extensively and presented me with one solution I liked the sound of, that made the carpet look like new again (he grafted some yarns from extra carpet I had and plugged it into the existing base - it has worked well!) I highly recommend Aladdin, and I recommend Sasan as a person to work with. It was a really good experience all around. read more

This review is based on first impression and salesmanship (or lack there of) . I walked into the store to look at replacing my carpet in 3 bedrooms (kids room and guest room) . I openly admit I wasn't sure what I was looking for. The salesman was nice but not very helpful. He offered to come to my house to take measurements. He, thankfully arrived on time. He goes upstairs, takes the measurements and comes downstairs and proceeds to walk out of the house with barely saying a word. I have to call him back to inquire about the estimate. He finally agrees to quote me a price which was over 5k for three rooms. I admit I picked what I now know to be expensive carpet. He walks out and I never hear from him. No attempts to give recommendations or alternatives for young kids bedrooms. No effort to get my business. Refused to give me my room measurements. I understand how that could be abused, however, I like to support local businesses but he clearly did not want my business read more

We bought carpet from this place a few times, and last year in March we decided to put new carpet for our bedrooms and buy it from Aladdin again. What a mistake. Due to our busy schedule and having a trust in them we went back and tried to choose something from their selection. The sales person was Sasan and he showed us some samples and told us how good their product is and no one in US carries that product but Aladdin. He even told us to take the little samples home that night and bring it back before they open the shop in the morning. We returned the samples in the morning but we weren't sure if that was what we were looking for. He called us again and insisted again that they are the only one carrying the product with so much warranty. Finally after all the sweet talk we picked a carpet and the padding which was "the best" in trusting him and they installed it in a few weeks. We came home when they were almost done installing and saw that he sold us paper thin carpet. I called Sasan over and asked him how terrible the carpet feels and looks he immediately came with his manager and again tried to insist how great the product was, and how wrong I am thinking that it wasn't. It looks like 1970 carpet, but he called it "designer look" the day after installing I happened to pass from a carpet store and went inside to see if Aladdin was the only one carrying that terrible carpet and what a surprise, they had hundreds of more selections than Aladdin and I asked the sales person to price the same carpet for me. I paid 10.5k for that carpet and the sales person gave me an estimate of 6.4k for the same carpet, he also said that if I pay a little more I could get better carpet since this was almost low grade. I took the card with the estimate written on it back to Sasan and showed him, he said the carpet place "lied to me" and he told me that carpet place is not good and they are liars. They offered to change my entire carpet again, but I could only pick from the same manufacture. If that manufacture had better carpet, believe me we would have picked it from the beginning. We were not looking for any headache. The carpet we have is so thin that all the nail tacks are sticking out from the carpet, every time we walk up the stairs we poke our toes and rip our socks, we must have thrown away over 20 pairs of socks. On top of that, we all got tetanus shots because all of us had bloody toes from walking on nails. We never changed the carpet or got anything back from them. Finally after going back and forth with so many phone calls, a few weeks ago after 9 months they came and fixed most of the nails that were sticking up. I would NEVER recommend anyone to buy anything from them. They gained our trust and they lied and cheated us. No stars for them. read more
