I came across Muddy Studio during my search and decided to give it a try. At $140 for a month--three hours a day, once a week--I thought it was a great, budget-friendly hobby to enjoy. From the very first class, our instructor, Sam, taught us pottery in great detail. Sam majored in pottery and was incredibly kind, thorough, and helpful. Now that I've finished my first month, I've decided to sign up for another month! I truly believe this place is an excellent option for anyone looking for a hobby. The studio owners are also wonderfully nice, and the atmosphere is so friendly that everyone can easily become friends. If you need some healing from your busy daily routine, you should definitely give it a try! Parking can be a bit challenging, but it's not impossible since you can just park on the street and walk over.

I'm really looking forward to glazing and firing my pieces!

All members supported me and encouraged to stay. I see progress in my speaking skills with every meeting. The main idea of this particular club - no topic is taboo. I like this very much because we can discuss a lot of topic and listen other other points of view.

I have been to other toastmaster clubs and this one by far is one of the best...if not THE best in…read morethe area. Here are a couple of things that really made this club special. 1st thing is that everyone is so welcoming. The very first time I visited this club I felt extremely welcomed. 2nd thing is that this club is not afraid to talk about any topic. They really live by their motto "No topic is taboo" because I heard speeches and talks on very controversial topics such as politics, religion, and sex to name a few. What is remarkable though is how everyone is so respectful of other people's opinion that the club really creates a safe space to talk about anything. 3rd thing is that the members are very diverse from age, race, gender, occupation, family, recreation. There are young 25 yr olds all the way to 65+ both male and female that are engineers, sales, c level executives, students, entrepreneurs, single, married, kids, no kids, as wells as people from all the continents (except Antarctica...nobody really lives there). If anything just visit the club and see what it's all about.

As a collegue of mine put it: "I had already contacted (company X) multiple times with no response. The way I ended up getting the contract was because of a friend of a friend of a friend in RBN". The venues: So far the venues have all been classy and fun: The Clubhouse Restaurant at South Coast Plaza, Dave and Busters at the Spectrum, Fox Grill at the Spectrum, Zmario restaurant in Irvine, Yacht Cruise on Newport Bay, the list goes on and on. I always have a good time meeting with folks and the venue plays a part in the atmosphere for everyone. People like having fun and when they are having fun they are relaxed and more interactive with one another. I have gotten business and referrals within one month of joining this group. That is considered pretty rapid within the networking community. I am extremely happy with this group and would wholeheartedly reccomend RBN to anyone looking to expand their network while having fun.

I am sure I have saved more than my membership and the cost of drinks alone. They do definite heavy pores and it's worth every penny to join. The elks have a acronym bpoe... Which stands for best people on Earth, and they're not lying. Especially at this Lodge. This place is absolutely wonderful, they serve great food, and I have something going every single night of the week. This place has one of the best bars I have seen, and has pool tables, TVs all over the place, and just a great vibe to it. If you had even considered becoming an elk, I suggest you do it. There are lodges all over the nation, and you really need to check it out. And when you are in California, Orange county, in particular, you need to come to the elks Lodge here in Newport Beach. It will change your life and rock your world. Bottom line? I really didn't know that I needed to be a part of a lodge until I joined the Elks. They do such great humanitarian work, and this Lodge in particular is very big on supporting veterans, and other charity causes. Go check them out today!

She then looked at my Dad with that awful face and said what do you want and just blatantly disregarded me and me asking her if she was ok . This was my first time this year coming in , if I had brought a guest with me I would've been so embarrassed. I don't feel that paying members or guest of paying members should be treated like this . Or am I missing something? It was steak dinner night. My Dad and I had already ate so we just came in for a cocktail. The gentleman that was making the steaks came out and greeted us and was very nice and asked if we would like dinner. That was the only pleasant experience we had. As we were leaving, a lady went to go pick up our drink glasses, which I'm sure she was a volunteer but still I believe she should be nice and not rude. I said I'm going to take the last sip of my drink, she said OK and then you can take it to the bar. I was a bit taken back by her rudeness, saying that in a rude way with the ugly look on her face as well. I took the last sip looked at the bar It was super crowded. There wasn't a place for me to fit in so I said I'm sorry it's too busy at the bar. I set it back down on the table and she gave me a look that could kill. I don't know if I can bring a guest to this place because they're going to be treated like this? I think if you were working or a volunteer you should be nice to the members I don't know what's going on here, Am I missing something? Can somebody please explain this to me?
