But what truly sets her apart is who she is as a person. During our meal, my young son began choking, and Julia reacted instantly. Calm, quick-thinking, and compassionate, she stepped in immediately and helped save him before things escalated. It was one of the most terrifying moments of my life, and I genuinely don't know what would have happened without her. Beyond being exceptional at her job, Julia is clearly an extraordinary human being. We will never forget her kindness, professionalism, and composure under pressure. It was far more active in 2016, but there are still low key events such as raps, occasional meet ups at restaurant bars. The first meeting I went to was great featuring Gay tech savvy LGBTQ employed by local engineering companies such as Raytheon, Aerospace Corp. They were encouraging attendees to master STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Cool to hear that the tech industries tend to be more inclusive on diversity. Once we met up at the Old Town Music Hall which features silent music w/ accompiment by an elaborate organ played by one of the founders of this esteemed musical venue which also features organ recitals on Sunday afternoons in the charming village of El Segundo. Strange that it doesn't sometimes meet at The Artesia nee Dolphin Gay bar in Redondo Beach on Artesia Boulevard. SB LGBTQ Center is one of the very few Gay venues in the South Bay and so is an important asset to our community.
