She's not too gentle and not too tough; she's like the porridge Goldilocks would've eaten -- just right. I don't know what else I should say about her, because I get the feeling she uses her powers to adjust her care to her patients' needs and personalities. She's really kind of a bada$$. There's no accounting for taste, of course, but if you're shopping for a counselor, I highly recommend Angela Gurno. And I'd lay money on the other ladies at Legacy Valley being good eggs, too. I needed grieving counseling after the loss of my mom and Daddy close together. I'm a believer in…read morecounseling after seeing Gloria, but I wasn't before. She really helps talk through the loss. I went to counseling when I was a child (forced through a divorce) and hated it. Her counseling changed my mind. She listened like another person (rather than a doctor who is examining you). That's what you need. My sister forced me to go and I am appreciative of that. Even if you try once, it will be worth it.
