Muddy bees is a local hurricane staple. I have been going to muddy bees for the last 4 years and I…read moream always impressed. Muddy bees offers a wide selection of breads, cookies, pies, and desserts. One of their own creations is the Kolob which is an oatmeal cookie crust, cream cheese, and fruit layer. In addition, muddy bees offers gluten free options from bread to cookies. While they are not a gluten free kitchen/establishment, they do offer options to accommodate those with intolerances. The inside has several tables and chairs for guests who wish to enjoy their pastries, breads, and coffee inside. In addition, they have local artisan made options for purchase. Every time I have been in, I have been offered help and the employees are always kind.

Fantastic experience!! I needed a German Chocolate Cake for a friend and was able to order it…read morethrough them. Everything is done through email which I think is very convenient. Their prices are very reasonable for custom orders. When I told them that I needed to travel with it from Hurricane, UT to Duck Creek, UT, they emailed me to let me know they could freeze it for me! That way I would just need to put it in a cooler and I would be good to go! They were right! I will update with pictures when I get them from my friend. The only one I have doesn't do it justice because I didn't want to unwrap it. I also bought a cinnamon roll for the road and was very tasty!!

Great experience at this cafe after a long day of hiking. Very friendly staff. Good menu options…read more We got a round of milkshakes!! Delicious. They also have hand cut fries. Good portions and fair pricing. Plenty of seating. Quick service. Honestly better than a lot of the food in the area. Would come back here!

Review # 20 for 2025…read more For a cafe in the middle of nowhere at a National Park, this place was great and very reasonably priced!! It was a very pleasant surprise. We got to Great Basin early in the morning to try and get stand by tickets for the observatory tour and so we did not have time to get breakfast in the morning. We also had a cave tour that morning right after signing up for tickets. We did bring some food, but lunch meats type of lunch and I wanted to get some hot food for my baby boy as it was cold and raining on/off that day. They are open from 8am-5pm everyday. There was a good variety of food. I ended up getting the loaded breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were a bit overcooked but overall it tasted good. My baby sure loved it! It was topped with cheese and bacon and costs around $10. I also got an iced mocha and cold brew for the hubby. My husband liked his cold brew, I like my mocha a bit less sweet but it did the job for me. It does get really busy so expect a wait if it's busy as there is one person in the front and one in the back making the food. The lady taking my order was very nice and helpful. There are a handful of tables inside, as well as a handful of tables outside. There are also some park picnic tables if you walk around behind the building a bit. Would I come back here? If I was at Great Basin again I totally would! Other items I saw people ordered looked really good too!! The prices are very fair and I would definitely get some hot food here and not pack so much food next time around. I really wanted to try the chili!

Came here because we were looking for a French brunch spot, and at first it felt like a great find…read more We were greeted upon arrival, and the menu offered so many options that placing the order took a bit of time (we had five items for two people). While ordering at the counter, I needed to make a quick adjustment after getting confused about one of the items. During that moment, a 'white' gentleman was waiting behind me, and instead of simply acknowledging him with "I'll be with you shortly," the lady staff apologized to him for my delay in ordering (according to her). Shortly after, while I was still in the middle of ordering and asking about tea options, she abruptly moved on to take his order without any explanation or communication. The interaction felt dismissive and uncomfortable as well I felt strong I am treated with racism, especially in the condition when I was pregnant who crave all good food.... As for the food, most of it was enjoyable. The scrambled eggs on the croissant and the pancakes were well done. However, the onion soup was overly salty, likely due to the cheese which was in the soup and also on the bread. Another downside, especially as first-time visitors, was the lack of guidance. We weren't informed that water was self-serve, and only realized it after noticing another guest getting it themselves. Interestingly, when leaving, we saw staff pouring water for newly seated guests, which added to the inconsistency. Overall, the food showed effort from the kitchen, but the service experience was disappointing. The 2-star rating is mainly in appreciation of the quality of the dishes. Cafe is quite small and we felt hot, as there's only a portable AC that couldn't accommodate that size of room. Not recommended place, even this is one of the rarest cafe in town. Rather to spend money to somewhere worthy and respect you as guest, no matter what roots you have.
