The dining experience was nice, not too bright, and not too loud. And I'd like to add - a server should never assume one or the other in a party is paying. The check was given directly to my husband, to which he replied, "She's paying for it," and he handed it to me. That's not a good look!

I don't usually write reviews on Yelp honestly, I mostly only come here to vent when things don't go right. But my experience at Fire + Smoke BBQ was so amazing that I had to make an exception. First off, Mike, the owner, is a total gem. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he does. His passion for BBQ shines through in every bite. The food? Simply incredible. The meats are cooked to perfection, the flavors are on point, and the sides are just as good as the main event. It's clear that Mike puts his heart and soul into his craft, and it shows in every dish. If you're a BBQ fan (or even if you're not), do yourself a favor and check this place out. This was so good! Fire and Smoke was Some of the best BBQ I have had outside of Texas. Sometimes BBQ can taste a little dirty, this was so clean and tender. The sauces were varied in flavor profiles and didn't compete with the flavor of the meat. My wife loved the turkey and brisket. They were so tender and juicy. The brisket, sausage, and ribs were my favorite. The shredded potatoes were amazing. The pickled sides were a great contrast to the succulent meat. Honestly it was so good! We happened upon this restaurant after a hike and we were so glad we did! We ordered the Brisket nachos, southwest salad, Mac and cheese and cheesy potatoes. It was delicious! I was so happy to find a yummy bbq place that I took my husband back two days later and we tried the ribs. Best ribs I've ever had. This will be our new go to place to eat. WOW! this place is really something special! A hidden gem on Main Street in Kanarraville! The BEST Texas style BBQ I have ever had! Top that off with wonderful friendly service and we just couldn't be more impressed with this place!
