Pretty basic is what I would say, on the food. Let me tell you getting a parking space to reach this place is hard enough. The place itself is pretty tiny too. I found no issues with the service and they seemed to be pretty thorough looking at menu at what I wanted to make sure it was right, pretty appreciated considering two other take outs give me the wrong items. Also the people behind the counter were very nice to make sure to ask if needed forks, spoons or sauces. I got hot oil and let me tell you, this place it's more oil than chili flakes, more value for a spicy lover as myself to drizzle on my food. Chili shrimp, although the shrimp was fine, the rest of it just felt like a weak stew, honestly it felt like it trying to be a chili rather anything spicy. Thicker cuts and a less thicker sauce would done wonders here. White rice was bit blend and over cooked. Saving grace was the egg drop soup, it helped down the rice. I moved to Middletown from Queens so I get picky with my "Chinese" food. Their food is really not that bad. We order from here because it's the only Chinese restaurant in the area that actually delivers. The food at Yuan Fu by Maddy's Diner is better in my opinion, but they don't deliver, which is a bummer. Ming's crab rangoon is folded a little differently, I prefer when the cheese is sealed in there all the way in triangles, theirs takes all the sides (not corners) and they squeeze them to the middle so there are sort of pockets on them, I can only imagine that the oil goes in there when they fry it, which is why I prefer the triangle folded method. Delivery takes a while, usually an hour, sometimes more - but at least they deliver. They do have a lot of offerings, which is nice. I've uploaded pictures of their menu, check it out. I ordered chicken wings with french fries. The Chicken was extremely greasy and the french fries were saturated in grease. I asked to change the fries for Yellow fried rice with bean sprouts. They said they didn't have any bean sprouts. I then asked for onions and mushrooms. She said okay. Then when I got home there was no mushrooms just large chunks of onions. Then when I really looked. No wonder why they messed up the food .They have young children in there cooking. I will never eat there again. read more

The worst food ive ever had from a Chinese place egg drop soup was like water the happy family had barely any sea food of meat on it it tasted bad on top of that the lady on the phone hung up when i called an hour later to just ask how much longer then called her back and she was very rude saying the guys in the car and hes close then he gets to my door the food was 33 dollars i hand him 2 20's and he just walks away assuming he can just keep all the change doesnt say thank you or anything he just turns and walks off. This is far and away the best Chinese take-out place in all of Middletown. All of their food is vastly superior to just about everywhere else, with an exception of maybe Go Go's, and their spring rolls are by far superior to everyone in the area. Hot & Sour soup is perfect. I've had this chinese food before and it was pretty decent. I recently ordered some stuff I've never had and I'm glad I did. The cold sesame noodles were pretty bangin but might b too peanut buttery for some people. The fried wantons were fried to perfection and the mystery meat inside was mysteriously tasty. I also ordered sweet n sour pork which honestly didn't taste very different from the sweet n sour chicken. The delivery was fast which is always fantastic. Flash Gordon would be proud. The worst place in Middletown. They constantly get the orders wrong, and the owner is the rudest person. I ordered the seafood delite and the shrimp was slimy, the scallops tasted sour and the fake crab was over cooked, I threw it away. When I called to complaine she accused me of lying and said that I probably ate it and just didn't want to pay. They offered no refund or replacement. Not worth the money or time! The food isn't anything special, and the service is just terrible. Just give them a call and ask about their menu and pricing and see how much time they will give you before trying to get you off the phone (this was no more than a minute into the phone call).
