Wanted to book a massage through Groupon, they list their prices one Groupon more expensive so that it looks like a better deal.

Dragon foot spa Hi,…read moreI'm visiting the area for my first time and was expecting if anything, appropriate service. I'm a young girl in college and decided to treat myself with my friend to a full body massage. So my friend and I chose different packages. I had picked B53 (a full body scrub included). My friend chose B52 (a leg and foot scrub). The massage itself, fabulous. I also feel inclined to mention, there's a man behind the front desk with a bunch of screens facing him. On the screens was all the rooms and massages going on. Very strange? I'm not from the area so i'm sure what is allowed in terms of legality with these places. But was definitely lingering in my friend and I's mind throughout the massage. During the massage I asked if they provided cupping therapy, mind you, there are two massage therapists in the room. Both answer no. Then comes the scrub, very relaxing but only my back side? Very weird considering it's listed as a FULL body scrub. But alright, no complaints still from my end. Post massage my friend tells me she also got her whole backside scrubbed despite choosing a different package. At this point we still are very chill because the massage was amazing. So we go up to checkout, I checkout first. I addressed the HALF body scrub I received politely and questioned why they didn't do my FULL body including front side. The manager initially just dismissed me while nodding and smirking at her screen. Then when she acknowledged what the person in front of her was saying, she says there's not enough time and I needed to pick the 90 minute package. My backside scrub lasted five minutes. But okay, could've mentioned the necessary time extension before the massage. Additionally, as this is all transpiring, I'm looking straight at an entire page of their cupping services. What? I'm sorry that's just strange because both massage therapists in the room aren't fully representing the companies services? Again, I kind of just dismissed it as miscommunication. Then came time to pay. Mine came out to $140. Naturally there's a tip suggestion, the tip options being $35+. I'm sorry I received half of the service I payed for, and was given incorrect information on their services. I still do a custom tip. After I entered my amount the manager goes "She didn't do a good job? It was a bad massage?" I was like no the massage was amazing I loved it. Then she goes "She works very very hard" (the massage therapist). The manager was the one speaking to us and the one who checked us in and out. The outright pressure to tip more was so inappropriate. So weird. To be so comfortable to assume someone's means even after I gave her feedback on what I didn't receive and didn't like from my experience? Also no shade or hate to the massage therapists they were very sweet, just misinformed. Anyway, she scoffs and her whole attitude from that point on was just switched and honestly rude. She checks my friend out silently, her total came out to $111. Despite essentially getting the exact same package and experience. She tips as well. The manager gives us no goodbyes, no thank yous, no have a nice day, just waves us out. I wanna make this review to spread awareness on how disrespectful and insensitive this business was in terms of tipping. Honestly just very embarrassing with a full lobby of people watching this whole interaction. If you're looking for a zen and comfortable place to get your next massage, or maybe even cupping therapy, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

She first walked on my back, put on lotion and gave me a very thorough massage throughout my neck back and legs. I also got a foot massage and she rubbed my temple and my scalp. I do recommend!! The reception area was very clean and had a beachy feel to it. However, it was not the easiest place to find abecause the number is kind of tucked away in the right hand side of the building. Another con is the fact that it is a very small space. When you first walk into the treatment area, there are two reflexology chairs to the right facing the same direction, so you couldn't even sit side-by-side with a friend and talk. Also, the two massage tables are separated by a very thin screen which does not make for a totally relaxing environment because you can hear everything that's going on. I literally could hear somebody getting their legs done with a dry scrub. These rooms need to be just that, their own rooms with total peace and quiet so you can just drift away while listening to the overhead music. On the plus side, my therapist Gina, did an exceptional job with my 90-minute massage! She was very professional and made sure I knew that I could speak up at any time in regards to too little or too much pressure. Although, I felt really good leaving there, I would have liked a little more consistency with a deep tissue pressure. My massage was in between a Swedish and a deep tissue. That aside, she is an exceptional therapist and she and Nicole are the reason as to why I gave it a higher rating. It should also be known that their introductory prices come with a 45 day time frame to go through every single one of them. I paid $55 for the 90-minute massage.
