Complete rip off!! My family and I decided to go because we could do zip line and paddle boats…read more Upon arrival at 3:30pm we were told we had time to do both until 6pm with a $55 day pass. We were finished zip lining at 5:21, we went to paddle boats and was told it closed at 5pm. Huh?! We have until 6pm! As stop by the entry office to ask for a partial refund since we were lied to about the activity being available to ride. No help whatsoever! Yeah we understand but we can't refund. I ask for the manager, who is no more than 18, and she said we had 30 minutes to cancel. Girl bye! They are so wrong not to tell me the ride closed early so I could have done that first. I would NEVER go back! Ruined our spring break.

I went in the giant dipper for the first time today!…read more The dark tunnel spooked me cuz I didn't know what was coming lol! I loved the first drop it was really smooth it was only the last few drops that was really shaky! Honestly I had to hover above my seat so I wouldn't be tossed on my friend lol! Where do I start? I show up to purchase wristbands for myself and my 10-year-old and the cashier…read morewas very aggressive and intimidating. He shouted out the total for two wristbands and I let him know there was a different price online. He shouted out to purchase the wristbands online for that price. I walked away purchased the wristbands went back to pick up the physical wristbands. He scanned the barcode and put the wristbands on our wrist. And then with a smile said the list of rides that were closed. And then said " we are short staffed and due to that we do not have employees at the rides once they get here at 12:30 then you'll be able to get on the rides" I looked at my 10-year-old and said OK we'll go walk the beach and get a bite to eat until they open up. Guess what the staff never got there! Honestly, he thought it was funny when he told me that we weren't going to be able to get on rides until the other staff got there. There were a few rides like the mini dipper and the carousel. But who buys wristbands to get on a couple rides and then get on the bumper cart. If that's the case then I would've just bought individual tickets. LET YOUR GUEST KNOW AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU ARE SHORT STAFFED AND THE PARK WILL NOT BE RUNNING AS USUAL!! I had to keep looking for staff to let us on rides and then even then I wasn't able to get on every ride. I paid for a wrist band for myself and my daughter thinking that we were going to be able to enjoy the day but we were not. I do want to point out that I'm a single mom and low income and this was supposed to be something amazing for us. $100 to Belmont Park is absolutely nothing but for me it is. And just FYI, I a lot of people kept leaving the park upset. But for them, they didn't purchase wristbands. We waited till after 5 PM hoping that as the shift changed employees would come and open up all of the rides, but that never happened. I was hoping to get my money back for the wristband, but because the employee at the counter was so aggressive I was honestly afraid to go up and ask for a refund. I'm hoping Belmont Park will make this right and provide my daughter and I with an opportunity to return to Belmont Park at no charge to us and be able to get on the rides.

Where can you find the best service in the Galaxy? Look no further than Coyote's Flying Saucer…read moreRetrievals and Repairs Service in the KO-PAH Mountains of Southern California outside of San Diego. When rolling up you may jokingly remark that the dry, rocky landscape looks quite Martian. Straight out of a scene with say "Captain Kirk fighting the Gorn Commander in Star Trek". Then you pass through Ocotillo, California, and spot saucers with colorful lights on them, traffic cones covered in alien sketches, and a man named Coyote sitting outside on a lawn chair in front of a vessel with a plastic bubble above his head. This is Coyote's Flying Saucer Retrievals and Repairs Service, a UFO junkyard featuring several life-size saucers, many of which can actually be driven around once Coyote is finished with his handiwork. To make the scene even more extraterrestrial, Coyote has decorated the lot with signs reading "Landing Zone," a van and some old RVs with an alien dummies inside. Add skeletons half vaporized in the backs of trucks. This is needless to say not for everyone, but there are a lot of people into this stuff. Coyote loves to share his passion for flying saucers with visitors and will typically allow his new friends to take a spin in his cart. He also occasionally screens drive-in movies like ET and the X-Files, projected onto an "asteroid" Well its actually a huge boulder that he says the aliens "dropped off" for him. Beyond a doubt Coyote believes the desert sky has visitors at night. If they happen to crash, or their hover craft Ionic compensators get reverse charged, he's got them covered. Yeah this place is nuts!

It's a hoarder nightmare. There an old rotting house with the walls torn down on one side and dog poop all over. Coyote has about 10 dogs who were all chained up together inside hot trailers in 95 degree weather. It was heartbreaking; so bad that I called the ASPCA. One of them was so hungry it had broke into an old box of strawberry gelatin and was eating it.

Aw, I'm surprised to see this place rated under 3 stars. We went on the first day of the water park…read moreopening and honestly had a great time! There's Big Bird's Beach, a lazy river, a kids' splash area, and a bunch of adult slides. I have a 2 year-old, so he can't do many of the big rides, but the park felt small and entertaining enough for him. The show was super cute, all the characters were out singing and dancing, and he loved it. The rides reminded me of carnival-style kid rides (like the carousel and Elmo's rocket). The swing ride was closed, but maybe next time. One thing I really appreciated: no lines. You could ride things multiple times, which is perfect with a toddler and some friends. And the 4pm parade was such a highlight because we got to see all the characters up close was really exciting for my little guy. Another thing I almost forgot was the story time with the Grouch! My boy was not afraid of him. He was fun, Overall, we had a fun and easy day. Definitely better than the low ratings make it seem!

Phenomenal! I haven't been to Seaworld in 30 years. I was about 4 or 5 years old since my last…read morevisit, so of course I expected changes. When I went here long ago, Shamu was popular. He's been dead, but his memory is still alive here. New orcas, dolphins, sea otters etc. existed. My friend and I came here since his father owns a timeshare 5 minutes away from Seaworld and we both had vacation time. We were at the Marriott hotel in downtown San Diego where the parking structure was on the top floor, unusual for sure, but necessary in order to park there due to the poor surrounding environment. A lot of places nearby including the boat museum maritime. Seaworld, changed! In the most interesting and good way possible. New rides, more things to do. Last time I went to Seaworld there were only shows involving orcas swimming in a pool of water splashing guests as the highlight, it still is there as usual, which I loved by the way and was enjoyable to witness. Rides: 1. Emperor - 5/5 amazing 90 degree drop dive coaster, with ejector air time and intense g forces, my favorite ride due to having a fresh breeze of the ocean air at the top and a beautiful view of the park. 2. Electric Eel - 5/5 bizarre coaster with a launch and a positive g roll at the top. Not that intense unfortunately, fun and intimidating, but enjoyable to go on with a friend. I enjoyed it. 3. Atlantis - 5/5 intense hybrid water ride and coaster. Two drops, the water drop was meh, but the coaster drop after was taller and more intense g forces on the drop and swivel loop below. My personal favorite tier with emperor 4. Manta - 5/5 most intense coaster there, super fun, launch coaster with strong g forces throughout. Shockingly the most intense ride at the park with the intense factor of the launches and ejector air time and speed. 5. Arctic Rescue - 5/5 super cool ice ride, it's near the penguins in the back and has a bike you sit on that has great launches and strong positive g forces on the launch, not as good as manta, but super fun, went on it more than once and enjoyed it the most. Theming of the ocean from the start before the launch was cool. 6. Skytower/skyride - admission fee rides, very relaxing, $6 per person, the skyride was fun, you sit in a carriage and observe the scenery of the ocean with a slight breeze. The skytower is a tall swiveling cylindrical seated container that overlooks sea world. 7. Closed attractions - dolphin show was closed, looks promising but was not open during spring for whatever reason, roaring rapids ride was closed in spring reopens in summer, the sea otter show closed due to renovation. Food was very nice, I enjoyed it, I got a vegetarian salad wrap at the cafeteria near the orca show. They had pretzels, fried foods, pizza and sandwiches, burgers that looked and smelled good. I saw some people with turkey leg and they had other foods at the food court. My friend liked touching the small fishies that eat dead skin near the entrance. Place is good for older kids and young adults who have children. Not as family friendly as Disneyland and Legoland due to the intensity of the attractions, especially that emperor and manta. Those two rides are more intense than any of the rides at Disneyland, better off comparing those to magic mountain and knotts berry farm level of intense. Outside of the top 2 mentioned (manta and emperor) the other three were relatively good rides with strong intensity (electric eel, Atlantis and arctic rescue) that Atlantis ride was closed for like 6 hours which was annoying and the wait time was long too maybe 2 hours, so rode that ride last just before going home. We were there right when it opened and left before the place closed. I bought a dolphin souvenir t shirt at the shop and I love it. Overall a solid 5/5 for entertainment, ambiance and overall experience. It had great themes and a beautiful environment similar to universal studios but sea based. The orca show was nice, cute host for the show and the little kids sea lion show was relatively meh. I would come back again. I enjoyed it but it is so far Southern California. Unless you live in San Diego, this place is a treat.
