And then said " we are short staffed and due to that we do not have employees at the rides once they get here at 12:30 then you'll be able to get on the rides" I looked at my 10-year-old and said OK we'll go walk the beach and get a bite to eat until they open up. Guess what the staff never got there! Honestly, he thought it was funny when he told me that we weren't going to be able to get on rides until the other staff got there. There were a few rides like the mini dipper and the carousel. But who buys wristbands to get on a couple rides and then get on the bumper cart. If that's the case then I would've just bought individual tickets. LET YOUR GUEST KNOW AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU ARE SHORT STAFFED AND THE PARK WILL NOT BE RUNNING AS USUAL!! I had to keep looking for staff to let us on rides and then even then I wasn't able to get on every ride. I paid for a wrist band for myself and my daughter thinking that we were going to be able to enjoy the day but we were not. I do want to point out that I'm a single mom and low income and this was supposed to be something amazing for us. $100 to Belmont Park is absolutely nothing but for me it is. And just FYI, I a lot of people kept leaving the park upset. But for them, they didn't purchase wristbands. We waited till after 5 PM hoping that as the shift changed employees would come and open up all of the rides, but that never happened. I was hoping to get my money back for the wristband, but because the employee at the counter was so aggressive I was honestly afraid to go up and ask for a refund. I'm hoping Belmont Park will make this right and provide my daughter and I with an opportunity to return to Belmont Park at no charge to us and be able to get on the rides.

I had a few questions regarding my booking and immediately emailed the party email listed. No response. I waited a day or two and attempted calling multiple times across the span of 3-4 days. No answer, no response on both calls and emails. I finally drove over to ask my questions and spoke directly to the manager who was assisting at the front desk. When I mentioned that nobody was answering both my calls and emails, there was no apology--just simply a, "oh yeah, we've been having a hard time responding to voicemails and emails..." oh? Ok. Day of party, the staff really only checked in for the initial check in and at the end when it was time to sing. No help setting up, no check ins, no structured activity, the fridge had old crusted liquid inside. I'm glad the party was part of the promotion because if I had paid regular price, I would have been really upset.

After parking, completing registration, and waiting in line (10+ mins), I was finally informed--after a long delay--that my son wouldn't be able to ride for at least "a couple of hours." At no point was there signage or staff to communicate the wait time, leaving us standing in line with no information. This lack of transparency and service made for a frustrating and unacceptable experience. I lost a good 30 minutes of my day, and on top of that, I had to tell my 7 year old that we could not ride a go kart today and left extremely disappointed your location. Which by the way, is not easy to get to and it is definitely not in the friendliest part of town. A long drive, a long wait, indifferent customer service and no go kart riding made for a forgettable experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make necessary improvements to ensure future visitors receive clear communication and better service. I'd appreciate a response regarding how you plan to address these concerns.

When rolling up you may jokingly remark that the dry, rocky landscape looks quite Martian. Straight out of a scene with say "Captain Kirk fighting the Gorn Commander in Star Trek". Then you pass through Ocotillo, California, and spot saucers with colorful lights on them, traffic cones covered in alien sketches, and a man named Coyote sitting outside on a lawn chair in front of a vessel with a plastic bubble above his head. This is Coyote's Flying Saucer Retrievals and Repairs Service, a UFO junkyard featuring several life-size saucers, many of which can actually be driven around once Coyote is finished with his handiwork. To make the scene even more extraterrestrial, Coyote has decorated the lot with signs reading "Landing Zone," a van and some old RVs with an alien dummies inside. Add skeletons half vaporized in the backs of trucks. This is needless to say not for everyone, but there are a lot of people into this stuff. Coyote loves to share his passion for flying saucers with visitors and will typically allow his new friends to take a spin in his cart. He also occasionally screens drive-in movies like ET and the X-Files, projected onto an "asteroid" Well its actually a huge boulder that he says the aliens "dropped off" for him. Beyond a doubt Coyote believes the desert sky has visitors at night. If they happen to crash, or their hover craft Ionic compensators get reverse charged, he's got them covered. Staff came our tables 10 min before our use time was up and asked us to start relocating our cake, gifts and party supplies because another party was booked to start immediately after our reservation.... there was no time between reservations for clean up, so our birthday party was limited to just over an hour! They literally were having us move before our time was even up. Ridiculous. Total rip off. The place was also pretty dirty. Prior birthday party decorations were left up from day before. Tables weren't wiped down. Outdoor seating had a bunch of stains on the cushions. They don't allow you to bring in your own cooler....the cooler the have for you is not clean.
