We had many pieces of furniture to be moved within our house which required a few staircases be used. Kept putting it off until the day we were on I-89 in VT, behind a truck with the logo Mini Moves & More. The phone # looked fairly local to us so took a pic from my passenger seat and I know now that it'll be the best picture I'll take all year. After some e-mail contact with Greg and George, I set up a date far enough in advance to get all our ducks in a row to be ready for the swapping of furniture throughout the house. Well, that day was today and Brian and Steve actually left about 45 minutes ago after 2 hours of non-stop work. They moved every single piece of the 21 items we listed without one single problem - and this list included everything from mirrors to a solid wood armoire going up a level through a tight staircase. Not one problem! No nicks, dents, chips, scratches on either the items or our walls and floors. Perfect!! We are done repurposing some of the rooms in our home so we may not have occasion to use Mini Movers in the near future, however, we will absolutely be happy to refer anyone looking for a recommendation to Mini Moves & More. I was so impressed by the work Mini Moves just did for us! My husband and I have been wasting a ton of money renting two storage rooms for furniture and other junk we didn't have space for when we moved in together TEN YEARS AGO. After less than a year, I wanted to get rid of my furniture, but it seemed like too much trouble to figure out how to deal with it. A friend recently recommended Mini Moves. In just two hours, our movers helped us pull everything out of our storage rooms, move the things we didn't want into the "donation room" in our storage facility, and consolidate what was left into one room. These guys were great! I had never hired movers before and after seeing how smooth and easy a process it was using Mini Moves, I wonder why I never used movers before! They were very accurate at giving a run down of the cost & time estimate before the move which was super helpful. On moving day, I had a few concerns about fragile items, but they were completely prepared and put my anxiety at ease when they wrapped these items carefully and securely. Having movers is an awkward scenario sometimes, because it feels like you should be doing more while they labor to move all your things. I've used these guys for two moves now and they are excellent. I"m planning on using them for my next move as well! The guy in the office is really nice accommodating me last minute and the movers were so polite and friendly. They're really strong, move quickly and carefully, and listen really well to direction. I also had these huge plate glass pieces from a bookshelf I was pretty worried about and they moved them without a scratch. It was pretty expensive for only moving about 1.5 rooms worth of stuff- $600 but they hoisted my bed frame over my second floor balcony no problem and it's worth it when you know you're not going to have to deal with any bull. I had a piano to move and these guys were great! Their early morning slots were taken so George gave me a choice of days with a range of time, I got a call 15 minutes before the move so I knew when they'd arrive. After moving the piano out of my friends house they offered to move her new hutch into the place where the piano had been. When they got to my place they assessed the best door to get the piano in, they ended up having to carry it further than originally intended to get it in the back door so they didn't have a tricky corner and with all that they got it done quickly and were very gentle with my new (to me) piano.
