I will never come back here. I came to get acrylics with one of my friends and we were both overcharged and forced to buy a nail file and a buffer. When we arrived it was not busy, but we still had to wait almost 20 minutes for someone to assist us. One of index fingers is filed crooked, and the lengths on both of our nails are uneven. My friend also has an air bubble underneath the gel on her nail. The color of gel polish that was used on my fingers also did not look at all like how it did on the wheel. Apart from the subpar nails, the staff was incredibly unprofessional. The man who did my friends nails asked her if she was drunk (at 2 pm on a Tuesday), and yelled at his daughter to go away right as she walked in. He also had to take a break from doing her nails to go smoke, and interrupted the women to was doing mine to finish hers. Overall I would not recommend this place at all, the unprofessional service was very upsetting. I gave 2 stars because it seemed clean and they had some yummy candies. read more

You get what you pay for. I've gone here a few times for acrylics and they've been pretty, but never quite what I wanted even though I explained to my nail tech. They just start working and ask questions later. They don't try to have a conversation with you and talk to everyone else instead. Cheap prices = poor experience. read more

HORRIBLE! I have gone to mini nails about 6-7 times because it's close to work and pretty cheap but it's always disappointing. My toenails come out fine but the massage, scrub, and customer service sucks. It's also offensive when they try to push eyebrow waxing on you by suggesting that your eyebrows are not looking good. This week I went in and was told it would be a half hour wait. An hour later I had to leave to get to an appointment and when I let them know I was going they didn't even acknowledge me and that I'd wasted an hour sitting there and was leaving without my nails done. After that I wouldn't go back there if it cost $1. Don't waste your time. read more

Overall, the best and easiest, affordable pedicure in Eugene. This place strikes the right balance... walk-in convenience, clean enough, decent hours, friendly staff, quality work. It's cleaner and better run than most of the cheap places in town, without being crazy crowded or needing an appointment. Also, great massage skills! I have always been very particular about my nails and what they look like. I do A LOT of research so that I don't go to chop shops. I saw reviews on this placed and thought that it would be great because of the reviews I had read. When I got there, (I did call in advance to schedule an appointment), I was greeted by what seemed like a very young lady working for her parents checking people in for their appointments. She asked me if I wanted beer or a glass of wine. I accepted a glass of wine, not being told in advance about the pricing. Then I was told to sit in a chair until someone was ready to do my nails. I was handed the polish samples, not being told again what the price difference was between polish and gel. Once I sat down with the lady who was going to start doing my nails, she immediately yawned and told me how tired she was and was complaining about how much she had been working. I showed her examples of pictures I had found online and told her that I was looking for something similar, knowing that they would not be the same. During my appointment, she stopped several times to check her phone and get on Facebook and kept stating about how bad she wanted to go home. I'm fully aware that some manicurists are like your own get away and when you're comfortable you tell them about little drama in your life, this was backwards. She also told me in the beginning that she would prefer me to tell her then that I didn't like them instead of saying they look great and talking badly of them so she could fix them to be something I liked. I then asked about the price and was told that it would $15 over what normal polish was. I decided then to get normal nail polish. Once all my acrylic was on, and she was done checking her phone, I told her that I didn't like the shape after all and was hoping that she could fix them. She told me no. She said that if she did anything to them they'd look funny and she couldn't do it. She proceeded to polish my nails, and then once the polish was on she asked her boss if she could leave because she was done. I was very disappointed with my final product and had them fixed by two other people immediately after getting them done here. I would not recommend going here. I will not put her name in this, but it is really unfortunate for her to think that she did a great job. read more

I have been coming here for over a year now and will not be coming back. When I usually go in, I get a full set w shaping and gel, never more than 40 bucks. When I go in today, I didn't get any shaping or anything special, and she charged me 50!!! Ridiculously disappointed in how inconsistent the pricing has been here the past few times I've gone, charge me more and more every time. So if your going to school and looking for something easier on your wallet, here won't be the place. read more

I got a mani/pedi at Mini Nails at end of July. I had the appt with the owner's wife, who was talked up by the owner when I called. Well, she was quite distracted and kept getting up to do other things, sped through the pedicure, ended up cutting/snipping and making 2 toes bleed, broke another nail in half (had to superglue it), and one of the bleeding big toes resulted in an ingrown toenail (swollen, red, painful)! 2 days later I had to get an appt with a podiatrist, a script for an antibiotic, and finally after a few weeks, it healed. I did go back to Mini Nails to let owner know what had occurred and showed pics as well. He refused to give me a free pedicure. And only when pushed for how he could make it right, reluctantly gave me $12 back (about half the cost)! He didn't believe that I had the pedicure there, even when I told him it was on a day when his credit card machine wasn't working (everyone that day had to pay cash)! I will never go back and let the owner know I would write a review in Yelp about my experience. Bummer that I had such a negative experience at Mini Nails. I am from portland but was in eugene for work and desperatly needed my nails done. I stummbled upon this place and was really pleased. My shellac mani lasted almost 3 weeks with no chipping. The pedi massage was amazing. All and all a great find. read more

Legitimately worst manicure of my life. I went in for An acrylic fill and the just painted over it with polish without every filling it. They barely did two coats, it's see through, chipped right away, and has weird lumps. Plus they were fairly rude. Very unhappy with the whole experience. read more

Mini Nail is a small salon trying to make it in hard times. Sometimes they over book and still take walk ins. I would imagine that is what happened to the other reviewer. I have been going there for over a year. I get pedicures and I have my solar nails filled every three week. I have always had excellent service, but I also make an appointment. The prices are very, very good. I have looked elsewhere and even tried other salons. I have always been disappointed. I hate paying more for less and that is what I have gotten elsewhere.
