Noticeable differences are the exterior color, additional trim around the porch, the huge trees, and the white fence. There was someone working in the yard when I came to check out the house, so I did my best to not be much of a nuisance. I only took 3 pictures! I was not living in the U.S. when the first 2 seasons aired. I watched the reruns and the new episodes as they came out. I enjoyed this quirky show! This house was built in 1883. For the show, it was both Mindy's apartment (upstairs) and Mr. Franklin Bickley's Apartment (ground floor). Mork moved into the attic. Filming of the interior was shot at the Paramount Studios Lot. The exterior of this house was also used for "Perfect Strangers" & "Family Matters". You may have heard it one too many times, or not at all, but the Colorado Continental Divide means that on the east of the Continental Divide all the rivers flow toward the Atlantic Ocean, and on the west of the divide the rivers flows toward the Pacific Ocean. In Colorado, residents are not as familiar with this thing called water, so this fact to us is not only interesting, but a moment to make us feel smart... And offer you one of those facts that you are sure to hear on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" The divide is a fun visit any time of the year, but it is at almost 12,000 feet, so if your guest or date is already feeling ill, dizzy, sleepy or grumpy, and it is not from you, then it might not be good to surprise them up past here which is above tree-line. When you get up to the monument, you can take a walk along a trail that looks like it goes on-and-on forever, but this is high mountain hiking, so don't expect there to be many tree stumps to take a seat on... And in the summer, or any season for that matter, storms can roll in faster then you can roll your Spanish rrrr's , so only hike if you are prepared. Note: The hike is not a loop.... If I am correct, it is about 3 miles long... But if you are new to hiking, keep an eye on where you started and head back after a little while to avoid rolling down the mountain and having to explain to people that you thought you were on a survivor game show. (Note: If you are on a date, do not tell you her that you are on a survivor game show and you have to pretend like this is your last day on earth... The lovely ladies that guide you room by room through the house know the history and have great stories to tell. The architecture of the house is very interesting and the fact that the original details and furnishings are still there is incredible.

I went with a friend to visit Avery House earlier this week. We initially assumed it was going to…read morebe a short interlude in between other Fort Collins attractions, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trips! The house itself is stunning; having been beautifully restored to Victorian splendour, it's charmingly reflective of the way its former residents would have lived. But it's the docents who are the real stars here - they're a group of incredibly passionate, lovely people who take every group of visitors around to introduce them personally to both Avery House, and the history of Fort Collins as a city. We especially enjoyed being able to explore and ask questions about all the small details in the house, from the furnishings to the lifestyles and stories behind every item. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone living in, visiting or passing through Fort Collins for how it lets you take a great look at one of the most interesting portions of the city's past.

I love me these little mini statue of liberties! This one is located near the large lake…read more The view is beautiful. This statue is a replica of the one that was originally there in the 1950's. I think it is nice that they replaced the original and it's there for future generations. Definitely worth a peak and a stop! Enjoy what the boy scouts left for you to see!

We were driving north on I-25 and I noticed the location on google maps, just south of Wyoming on the east side of I-25. I was looking for a little diversion so we took the frontage road drive off the highway to check it out. It gave us an opportunity to google and read up on the historical battle (?) that took place here. It's neat to see the terrain and imagine all those years ago as people tried to navigate their lives and this land. The rock formations are certainly pretty cool to look at. After reading about what happened there, I was surprised at the lack of space in this "natural fort". I'm glad we saw it and read about it. I wish we could have continued on north on the frontage road to get back on I-25 but google maps told us to do a 180 & drive south the way we came from to get back on the highway.

I can only imagine how beautiful these rock formations once were before they were ruined…read more We enjoyed climbing around and exploring the different viewpoints. There are several formations but only a couple are accessible from the dirt road that leads to it. The remaining are beyond a fence on private property. It's unfortunate that the locals have let this site go to waste along with letting kids ruin it with spray paint and garbage.
