Minia was arrived on time and was very professional. Throughout the trial she would make sure if I liked what she was doing or not. First off, I am a perfectionist. Thank godness I found Minia because my hair and makeup were more than perfect on my wedding day. Knowing how picky I am, I had to schedule a trial with Minia before my wedding. She was so patient and it took us a little over THREE HOURS to get my desired look. As the day went on after the trial, I kept her updated about how my makeup and hair were holding up. The day of my wedding, we did a couple of things differently; like lightening up my eyeshadow and using a different concealer to cover up a scar. I found Minia through Yelp. I was getting married in SF and was looking for a make up artist for the day of my wedding. I knew I wanted someone who worked with MAC cosmetics, and had read all the reviews for Minia. I texted her and received an immediate response, which showed great customer service. We exchanged emails, and I sent her a picture of me. We discussed looks I was going for and she even emailed me pictures of ideas that she thought might be good choices. My wedding was two months away, however she kept in touch and would send make up tips with lipsticks and foundations to try so that I would have them to use for touch up. I was able to "practice" in advance with the long wearing lipstick, which made me more comfortable when we used it day of.
