I requested to speak with a supervisor after being in extreme pain related to my kidneys for 3 hours to the point it was causing tears during my CT scan. A female in her late 20's came to my room. She had an extremely indifferent, sarcastic, and passive aggressive attitude. She looked to be in her 20's with wavy brown hair, very thin build. This was prior to me even talking to her about what the problem was. My best recollection is that her name was "Mandy". I tried to explain to Mandy I was left in pain and not one person in the ER was caring or attentive about this issue with my kidney pain that continued to grow worse. It was ignored. "Mandy" proceeded to speak to me as if I was a child, again in an extremely passive aggressive manner, as if I was the problem for bringing up my concerns. My patient rights to professional care were clearly being violated, and this person was making it known any way she could that she could not care less, and was absolutely immune to any type of consequences for her behavior. It was to such a point that I no longer felt safe in the care of this hospital, and it was absolutely abusive. I notified a family member that I was being treated this way, who called the hospital to inquire why I was being left in pain and treated this way by the staff. She was being hateful toward me, while trying to disguise it behind a facade of being courteous, yet it was extremely passive aggressive and threatening. This staff member also acted like it was "fun", when I notified her I would be filing an official complaint regarding her behavior. I asked her to remove my IV so that I could leave. After leaving the hospital, I contacted the desk to inquire the name of the person who had treated me this way, so I could file a complaint to the State Medical Board. I was transferred to "Celise", who stated she was the "charge nurse". I informed her that I needed to file a complaint against a staff member regarding the way I was treated, and needed the staff member's name to report the grievance, and described that it was the person who had removed my IV. It was immediately apparent that Celise was complicit in this behavior, and informed me she was standing just outside. Celise refused to give me this staff member's name in order to impede an investigation. She also fabricated that I had "ripped out my IV" which never occurred, and can be verified by the hospital's camera system. She was not only aware of the abuse occurring in my room, she was fully supportive of it. These two staff members feel they can treat patients any way they please, as long as they conspire with each other to shield from any consequences for their abusive behavior.

I had seen a quack doctor at an urgent care in Yakima, Washington that did absolutely nothing for me. After a four hour wait, she Supposedly cleaned my ear and wrote a " prescription" for Afrin and Sudafed in a trifold paper towel! Any way, a couple weeks later and I'm no better so we saw this place when passing by and stopped in. After filling out some paper work I was immediately called to the back, had vitals and med history checked and then the doctor came in, (Dr Candler?). He took one look in my ear and said he sees the problem - the ear is packed with wax! I told him about my previous visit in Yakima and he said, "Well, she didn't get it. There is no way your ear gets in that shape in two weeks." He flushed my ear and explained why it was itching and that it would get better in a couple days. He was right. 3 days later and it is much better. And to top it off, the office called this morning to check up and see how I was doing! If you need urgent care in this area, stop in.

First the negatives -quite a few arrogant doctors (god complex) -staff seems to be more focused on chatting in the hallways then paying attention to their patients. -some (not all) doctors don't listen to your concerns and needs. - alot of the nurses tend to have trouble with something as simple as an IV. -FREEZING all the time - front desk attendant is rude and seems uninterested Now for the positives -low wait times -a few of the doctors are amazing. To name a few - Dr. Ellsworth and DR Roberts are my absolute favorites. They are attentive, they genuinely listen to your concerns and and they do everything in their power to not only make you comfortable but to also alleviate whatever is medically wrong with you. -the cafeteria food is surprisingly good (especially for a hospital) -starbucks located inside -ample and convenient parking All in all this hospital is not the the best. Most of the doctors could stand to work on their attitude and so could a few nurses. (Again this doesn't include all of them....theres just some bad apples). Solid 2 stars

I get there, They hook me up to check blood pressure and vitals, and then as they're taking them, inform me, "So, we don't ACTUALLY do rabies here, I'm going to send you to the ER after we're finished here." They refuse to tell me the price disparity between the ER and Urgent care. So I decline, and go to the ER myself, who also refuse to give me any info, telling me instead to call Patient financial services if I want to know. I call Patient Financial, and have to give up trying to understand the broken English of the Indian on the other side. "Hallo sar, WAHY ayoo cawwing todai???" At this point death from infectious disease sounds like less stress than dealing with dishonest health services.

I was having a hard time speaking and understanding people. I told my BF, who was driving that something was seriously wrong with me. He said my face didn't look right. It scared him to death. He took me to an Urgent Care, where I lost consciousness in the lobby. I woke up to nurses asking me questions and complete chaos in the lobby. Because this was an emergency, they had to call an ambulance and take me to St Lukes. When I got to St Lukes, I thought I would be cared for and my symptoms were going to be taken seriously. Turns out when I got there I would be treated in a condescending manner, laughed at, and ridiculed. The doctor and nurse made jokes about my condition "she thinks she is dying!!" while openly laughing at me and blaming my condition on drugs. They barely did any testing. Put something in my IV, and waited for me to come to. Eventually I was able to get my wits about me and explain what I had experienced. They told me nothing was wrong with me and discharged me. I felt like a fool. I cried because I TRULY did think I was dying, and to be laughed at and made to feel like they made me feel was absolutely deplorable. Fast forward 4 days later, I had another episode while on lunch during my normal work day. My left leg gave out and I was not able to walk straight. I call my BF and told him it was happening again. This time I was in Idaho Falls and went to Mountain View. They didn't make me feel like a fool. They didn't laugh at me. They literally did all the testing that SHOULD have been done at St Lukes. During the ultrasound, they found I had a Patent foramen ovale. I hole in the upper chamber of my heart. It was causing small clots to form and make their way to my brain and I was having transient ischemic strokes. NO ONE deserves to be treated the way they treated me. The doctor and the nurse should not be treating patients if they cannot have empathy. They had NONE!! If I had not gone to Mountain View and let the Dr and the nurse at St Lukes convince me that nothing was wrong with me, I could easily have had a serious stroke and have like altering circumstances had I not sought a second opinion. I did file a true complaint with the hospital about the dr and the nurse. I hope they take it seriously.

Turns out, they don't even have an advice nurse. What they could have done was to direct me to, or connect me with my mom's physician's after hours number. None of them were willing to help or were not educated on how to direct people to the correct department. On the 6th attempt at speaking with someone, I was finally connected to an after hours advice nurse through her insurance carrier in Arizona! The nurses and staff lacked empathy and had no desire to assist us at all.

I paid the co-pays at the time. They then sent me a bill for $1,032 and one for $1,000. I disputed the claims they did not do anything. 1st - they coded the procedures incorrectly and 2nd - they failed to even file it with my proper insurance company. They started threatening emails and then a statement - they would not provide a detailed billing statement after asking twice. I know Blue Cross/Blue Shield stopped working with them. Last time my wife was in for a broken wrist, we sat for over 2 hours in a room with plastic which looked like a mental health room before even seeing anyone for the pain. According to my Facebook posting, they have done this to over 400 others as well.
