As usual, I was just curious about their WarHammer collection and it was a decent amount. I liked their table set up for Warhammer ready with tape measures and landscape. They had Pokemon and MTG commander packs and boosters available as well, my only complaint is that there was no price tag on their boxes and when we asked them how much the commander box was, they were looking up prices on their phone for a few minutes before we got a response. It made me think that they were going above msrp and just seemed shady. Just make sure as a customer you have an idea of what you're willing to pay for product. I'm all for supporting standing stores versus online, but not on this visit.

Answered all of our questions, gave us some insight on the challenges small businesses face, and was just overall a pleasure to have a chat with. We wound up getting a few packs of Pokemon cards, and my friend really loved the value he got out of his two packs for $16. In regards to the Labubu they sell a good amount of clothes and accessories so if that's your thing then this is your place. Additionally they had board games, rc cars, and various other fun toys. Highly recommend you support a local minority owned business if you're in the market for any of the items mentioned in this review.

She was very nice (5 stars for her) I went today and the guy there. White hair. Was a complete jerk. I ask if they had pokemon cards msrp. He says "I don't know. You gotta ask the owner" I look around. Another customer was buying comics. He opened up the bag. Skimmed through. Gave a rough price. Then shoved it back in the bag and dropped it on the desk. It made an audible plop noise. Charged the guy $15 for it. I come back. I see flyers for local conventions. I asked if they sold tickets. He goes "I don't know. Ask the owner" What do you mean ask the owner? You work here. If you don't know. Why don't you ask the owner and get back to me. Why is it my job to do your job? Terrible customer service. Rude. Not to mention disrespectful. I'd only consider coming back because the lady the first time was pleasant.

Bailey was also great to work with as he was the person I sold the most to. You must know you will not get full market value for your comics or collectibles but what they do offer is fair and didn't feel like a low ball offer at all. I have no complaints or reservations about the overall transactions. My comic collecting days are over but if you're a collector this is the gold standard for Sacramento area comic shops. Between their Wednesday live sales and what seems to be every other month or so 50% back issue sales there are great opportunities to build your collection at fair prices. Their toy/collectible section has really expanded in the past few years particularly at the Auburn location. I'll still pop in from time to time to check out the collectibles. Have found some great stuff in the past! All 3 locations are worth a visit. Staff has always been friendly and everything seems to be well stocked and organized. Give em' a visit if you haven't yet. Lots of treasures to be discovered.

I had a very disappointing experience with this store. I successfully registered for their One…read morePiece pre-release event and made arrangements to attend, including driving approximately 45 minutes to get there. When I arrived, I was informed that the staff had manually removed me from the event without providing any prior notice. The staff member stated that he was in charge of the gaming events and had the discretion to remove registered participants who were not considered frequent or regular players. While I understand that the store may have its own policies regarding event participation, removing someone who successfully registered without any advance communication is disappointing and unprofessional. If a successful registration through the Bandai registration system does not actually guarantee a spot and participation is ultimately at the store's discretion, that should be clearly disclosed on the registration page or event details. Customers should know this before registering and making plans to attend. At a minimum, if the store decides to remove a registered participant, a courtesy call, text, or email should be provided so customers do not unnecessarily rearrange their schedules or make a wasted trip to the store. People have jobs, families, and other responsibilities and have to coordinate their schedules to attend these events. Not everyone has the ability to attend every local event or regularly visit the store. The lack of communication and consideration for customers' time was extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to register for another event here.
