This place is AWESOME. First and foremost, the service is fantastic. Each of the 4-5 times I've come in I've chatted with different employees and with one of the owners and every single one of them was knowledgeable, helpful, and had great customer service skills. These types of niche shops are so much better when you know that the people you're dealing with are passionate about their products, and Five Star Bricks is top notch. I found this place as I was cleaning through our storage and decided to move on from mine and my brother's childhood LEGO collection. Between the two of us throughout our childhood we had four full 25 gallon totes of LEGO bricks and minifigures. I did my due diligence to clean through them before taking them in, but I dropped the totes off on a Wednesday and received a cash offer on Friday for them. They were efficient and helpful in allowing me to offload our loose bricks. We also talked extensively about the other items I had, including base plates, minifigures, and some completed sets that I had never taken apart. They provided me some good options for the minifigures, of which I had over 1,000 to move from sets ranging from 1992-2005, and they gave me fair offers on some of my built sets. I ended up selling my base plates and a couple completed sets to them as well as all the loose bricks and they were fantastic throughout the entire process. On top of this experience, they have a huge variety of built sets, and they're constantly getting new sets that range a ton of years. They also have a very diverse selection of minifigures from thousands of different sets, they have loose bricks for sale, and even a minifigure section where you can look for specific minifigure parts. One thing to note is that this is not the official LEGO store. If you come here looking for new sets, your selection will be fairly limited as they aren't bursting at the seams with sealed sets. Overall I couldn't recommend this place enough. Whether you're looking to sell LEGO collections, bulk or built, or are looking to add to your collection, this is an ideal place to check out! read more

I like this store, however. This is the 3rd time I have been in here and the power has gone Out. I spent and hour digging through 1,000's of tiny pieces to find the ones I needed, with a flashlight mind you, to be told that they can Only accept cash and it has to be the exact amount. WTF. It was hot and dark in there. AND to Top it off, the kid working there wasn't telling anyone about the Power being out or the fact that we had to have exact amount of the sale in cash. Awesome place to take my grandson! He loved searching through the bricks to find what he was looking for, and he was able to assemble several mini figs from the huge pile of parts. He also found some competitively priced assembled Star Wars vehicles to add to his collection. I also noticed that a few moms brought books and sat in comfortable chairs while their kids explored... win-win for all. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We'll eventually Someone did come and let us in. I would say this place isn't exactly top notch but it's a used Lego store. I've smelled interesting things on the clientele as well. Prices aren't cheap but they have overhead and staff. I know it's not a Lego trading station with friends. My kids still like to come here and we do maybe once every six months. The first man I spoke to was very polite. And if it was only based on his performance this probably would of been a five star review. I hadn't come here sense I sold my entire collection of legos 8 years ago around the time they first opened. Now that my son is "8" I decided to come check this place out again. The first person I spoke to said that will offer some wiggle room if buying several items. After all we all know these sets are being sold way above their original retail value. When I decided on six figures. The second person. She refused to offer any sort of price bargain. And when I informed her the other gentlemen said otherwise she said she won't lose her job over it. Drove 30 minutes to the store only to find a sign outside that said "closed for lunch" knocked on the door and the woman who answered was busy eating and said to come back in 30 minutes. My wife and I stopped in last Saturday after seeing it appear on Yelp. I was pretty excited to find a new place to get Legos and this small family run business did no disappoint. The boy at the counter was very friendly and informative, showing me exactly where everything was. He seemed happy to be there and made sure to wear a mask as well as sanitize the bins that are used to get Legos from the assorted LEGO tables. They have an awesome collection of mini figures, vintage Legos, various themed sets, accessories, animals, and more. I would highly recommend coming in if you are into Legos. read more

FSB really has something going for it; it's a fun place to browse, build, and buy that ISN'T the LEGO store at the mall. The gal who was behind the register today (sorry, I didn't get her name) was extremely kind and engaging, she directed us right to what we wanted and chatted with us and other customers while we browsed, alerting us to sale items and mini-figure costs. This place is incredible! One of a kind in buying and selling new and used Legos. Staff has been friendly and knowledgeable every time I've gone in. Everyone be aware. The reviews here must be people who do not collect or have any general knowledge on Legos. Brian the store manager is extremely condescending, mean spirited and rude. He treats his customers with little to no respect. While it is the businesses goal to make money, the manger demands a high price for selling his minifigures. A character like Han Solo which can be obtained for $8 he was trying to demand $22 for Han. Simply outrageous. The man treats you like an idiot and expects you to fall for it. Today my friend and I wanted to sell Legos to him, which were in boxes and he saw them and said because they were in boxes he can not buy them as a set, but rather buy them in bulk. He shook the box and said it weighed approximately 2 pounds and offered me $4. I was quite annoyed and did not sell to him and he gave my friend and I a scowling look, even though we bought minifigures from him. My friend and I after we left decided that this store was not good and decided to take the drive up to Chico and sell to a store called Brian's Brick's. It was an hour and a half drive. If you can make the drive it was worth it. The guy who owns that store is really nice, funny and polite and when he saw our collection and said $4 was an outrage and bought our sets for $300 instead. I will never go back to 5 star brick again, and to top it off the store has no sign and he gets annoyed when people call him to ask where he is located. Truly a rude man. read more

This store buys and sells used Legos, plus some new sets. There are huge bins of Lego pieces. Plus an area where people can create their own minifigs and vehicles. Probably the most interesting is the large selection of minifigs from Ninjago, Harry Potter, superheros, Friends, and a lot more. This place is great. My nephew loves it. His favorite Lego thing right now is the minifigures. He can go in there and buy just minifigures. He can also assemble one from the bins that have random pieces. Those bins are great for finding a lost piece or building something unique too.
