For a little while we would drive the few extra miles because they still had baked chicken while the other store's kitchen was having issues. Things are laid out a bit differently, but they have all of the same products we know and love. They also have sushi which is an added bonus. The employees are super nice, friendly, and helpful. My wife loves to buy from their bulk area. She's always using the ingredients to make us something awesome in the kitchen. Cash or debit and bag it yourself - keeps you out of debt and you can't blame anyone else for squishing your loaf of bread so, bag carefully.

Still, everyone seemed to be getting through smoothly. Overall, I enjoy shopping at this Safeway because it's easy to get in, grab what I need, and get back on my way. F's is $3.55 and S's is $4.47 with a dollar coupon off. This is absolutely ridiculous! How on earth can they charge that much more???!!!! Being the first time in a WinCo store, I was impressed by the size of the place and the name-brand selections they carry for some items. The aisles were wide and easy to navigate. What was supposed to be a quick grab and go of beverages turned into 45 minutes of shopping for many items. They have fresh-cut meats and fresh-caught seafood in the back of the store. Their frozen food section was also quite large compared to standard grocery stores. They carry fresh produce as well! On the way out, there was a large sign saying this is an employee-owned company. That's pretty neat I'm not handing my money to a large faceless corporation, but to a consortium of employees. WinCo may become a once a month or once a quarter stop to restock some of our family favorites!
