My van was towed to their shop after it broke down and I was provided a courtesy car. The transmission was repaired. Also brakes, rotors and oil change. I found Paul and Dave to be pleasant, courteous and efficient. Upon review, the repair cost was much lower than originally estimated. My van is fixed and working well. read more

Our vehicle needed the cv joint replaced, presented them with the part which a specialty shop had ordered and provided to us. They said they could do the job in 1 1/2 hours. It became apparent they were not able to do it at all as the apprentice was not monitored and the mechanic paid little attention. When putting the cv joint back in the bearings fell out. Initially they failed to use the packet of grease that came in the box with the new cv joint. Reassembly of the joint left it so stiff it would mot articulate and the mechanic told us it did not need to. This caused much delay as it could not them n line up for the bolts. This was pointed out to them but by then it was closing time. We spent the night in a motel returned the next morning to do the job correctly. When all was complete there was a washer left on the floor which turned out to be from one of the shocks. We got the job all done, only just left the drive when the vehicle started to make a terrible grinding noise. We limped it to Canadian Tire, called the owner from there to discuss the issue. He asked "why didn't we bring it back". He said he didn't want to hear from us again and hung up. Fortunately Canadian Tire diagnosed what was wrong....not properly torqued stretch bolt and an optional abs part left on the CV joint which shouldn't have been for our model year vehicle. Many dollars later our vehicle had the proper repairs done by Canadian Tire. If you aren't confident in doing the job don't take it on! Would not recommend this garage for any major work needed on a vehicle. read more

I came here to get just my brake pads and rotors replaced. Total cost was $410 with a coupon so seemed like a good deal. Left the shop the same day with my e-brake not working and my dash continuously beeping at me as I drove. Said "Electrical brake system issue" among other warning indicators. This made me think the mechanics messed up the wiring/cut a wire while fixing the brakes. I called the shop 2 days later to let them know what was happening, and they said they would take a look. They checked it out and were able to fix it so the e-brake would work, but my "brake hold" system wasn't working anymore and the car still continuously beeped while in motion, telling me to "release emergency brake." E-brake wasn't on. They told me that they would have to wait for their electrician to come back in a couple weeks to take a look at it. I had asked if there was a quote on any of this and he said "oh we will figure that out later," I said okay thank you. He didn't give a price and if he had, I would have disagreed with any more charges. I waited 3 weeks before calling them back asking if their electrician was back at the shop. They said yep and that he could look at it the next day. I bring my car in the following day and all the mechanic said was "I'm not sure how long it will take," and I said "that's fine, is there a courtesy car?" as he had told me the day before that there would be one. He told me that they had accidentally given away the courtesy car being held for me. I then had to pay for an unplanned taxi fare as well. I return a couple hours later and they tell me the charges are $260 for labor. I said okay, you guys are fixing an issue that your shop caused, nothing was wrong with my wiring/e-brake system before I brought my car to you guys. I did not agree to any extra charges at all. This was you guys fixing an issue that your mechanics caused. I told them that they knew what I was talking about and that someone is not being honest. I told them that they are poorly running their business and that I will pay just to get my keys back but definitely will not be coming back here, and will spread the word of the poor service. Don't come here. The owner is unwilling to take responsibility for mistakes made in the shop, and any warranty that might be advertised is not honoured. I was travelling with my friend through the states and up across canada in a van that had seen a good 10k+ km in the past few months. We thought it would be a good idea to get the brakes checked/replaced before going into Banff. In the end this costs us around $600. We came to this location and everything seemed fine. They checked everything, made some repairs beyond the brakes, and we set off. A couple weeks later, in between Calgary and Saskatoon, there was a terrible grinding noise at the back of the van. I thought I'd run something over, but there was nothing there. I bring the van to another mechanic and he tells me that the caliper wasn't attached properly in the back left wheel. One of the screws was gone entirely, and the grinding sound was the caliper loose while driving. This other mechanic diagnoses the problem, replaces the screw (which he had to take off a project van of his since apparently it's discontinued and hard to find), and checks all the other brakes for $150. Naturally, I think it's only fair that this $150 is covered since something happened with the brake change that led to this, and there is a big warranty stamp on the website. I take photos, I get a letter from the new mechanic, and I call the shop to ask for JUST the $150 back (which conveniently almost matches the amount that we were charged for labour on the brakes initially). The owner gets super defensive, starts blaming the issue on rust, and gives us the runaround for weeks. We called 4+ times, emailed many times, nothing. At one point he gets us on the phone with the mechanic who did the work. The mechanic is confused because he doesn't make these sorts of decisions, but he does informs us that the owner will take the money out of his paycheque if we insist on the refund. Way to take care of your employees sir. I am no longer able to get in contact with these guys as they don't answer my calls or answer my emails. Don't take the risk. I do believe the error was a genuine mistake, shit happens, I don't blame the mechanic. But you can't advertise a warranty and not honour it. And you can't just make up reasons to cover your ass for a mistake. And certainly don't dock your employee's pay. Just take responsibility for your mistakes. Shit happens, if you come to this mechanic and a mistake is made IT WILL NOT BE COVERED. read more

These guys were terrific, I was actually afraid of going to see why my car was wobbling. They test drove and put on hoist. It was simply a bulge in the tire at the rear. They could have told me anything. Thank you read more
