It was super clean inside and I felt a lot more comfortable here. We were walk-ins and they got us taken care of and were upfront about how long we would need to wait. The tattoo artist was attentive and, while relatively new to tattooing, did a great job on my traditional-style tattoos. This person took their time, had a steady hand, and helped create two more personal tattoos for me that I am very satisfied with. My experience with the 5th tattoo was not great. The tattoo artist rushed through things; the lines bled, and there were small parts they did not complete - for example, on one part of the tattoo, he did not complete a line, and so the color ran over. This person also offered me no aftercare info or bandage my tattoo once finished. This was a relatively small tattoo and should have been a simple process for an experienced artist. This tattoo was done on Friday the 13th, at the flash event, and during those kinds of events, you don't really get to the tattoo artist, which may have been part of the problem. At any rate, Sacred Dagger is a nice shop, the folks are friendly, it's clean, but before getting tattooed, make sure you look at the artist's books to ensure the work is good, b/c there is one artist there who is just not as skilled as others. I would name names, but I don't want to do that to anyone. Just be mindful when getting tattooed at this shop.

Like ok tattoo artists are supposed to be prepared. This session is now taking longer than it should. 2 days later my tattoo got infected so I had to reschedule and gave them another deposit of $100. Then I had to reschedule again and gave Chris another $100. Then I missed my appointment by 1 day because I was just finishing up my bathroom remodel so I completely forgot about my appointment. Chris calls me the next day and tells me that the owners decided to keep my money instead of having some compassion. Their thieves and the shop is dirty.

She did a really good job! I made an appointment a week ago because one of my nails had popped off. I made the mistake of putting nail glue and gluing it back (because I was going out to dinner.). I showed up for the appointment and I was told I needed ti wait, until it popped off again. Well I'm back this morning to get it replaced. This morning, not so friendly nor did she take the care as the first day. I did ask for them to be shortened a little( I'm thinking she would check in the length as she went but no. This time she did not build the nail up I lost like the original. She took a short cut and didn't build a base with a tip she just used acrylic so of courses it wasn't going to be as long as before and now it is too short. I tried to look as she worked but she didn't like me moving my feet to see what she had done. I at the end commented that they did not match and were very short. She asked if I wanted her to file it and I said no because we are at the quick of my nail and it's too late. She just ignored me and told me what I owed.
