I agree with everything the other reviewer said here…read more Chris and team worked on my upstairs remodel in 2022 and 2023, Hiring them is one of the worse mistakes I've ever made as a homeowner. The work they did was amazingly poor, the framing was terrible, the drywall work was extremely substandard, the plumbing was also poorly done, and some had to be removed and re-worked. In addition the general communication and follow up from Chris and his team left a lot to be desired. The drywall and framing were done so poorly that I've had to pay thousands of dollars to another contractor to work around the terrible job that was done. The walls are not straight, flat, or plumb and there are huge divots on the wall that cause the baseboard trim to look terrible. This is on top of paying top dollar for the work that took far too long. To properly be a client of their you need to be an expert general contractor yourself, and an expert in all trades so that you can have them redo everything.

We'd already had plans drawn…read moreup by an architect friend and the point of the remodel was to remove the original brick and concrete entry, that was falling in due to ice heaving, and replace it with a wooden deck with storage underneath. We'd taken care of the demo and landscaping to prep the site. Chad and his crew took it from there and did a really fabulous job. We have a challenging site because of heavy clay soil and large tree roots. They carefully set the posts and quickly got to work - late in the fall - on putting up the structure. The deck went up quickly and they did everything - including the horizontal privacy cladding, a custom bumpout to integrate the new deck into the 70s house, a custom double swing door to access the storage space, and a custom railing using wire panel - exactly to spec and with a high degree of craftsmanship. Chad and his crew were always timely, courteous, and did a great job cleaning up the worksite each day. We really appreciate the great work they did and have already been so thankful to finally be able to store some unsightly items out of the way and can't wait until spring when we paint the house and stain the deck. Finally, as a female homeowner, I really appreciated that they recognized that I was the person in the equation who cared most about the outcome of the project, who had the strongest viewpoints on the design decisions, and who needed to be consulted as the project went along. This is not always the case and it's refreshing to work with a crew who doesn't ignore "the wife."

Over 40 rock pop outs in a 3' x 8' section of a new home's patio. Purchased home in Nov. 2018 and…read morethese appeared prior to winter freeze and notified builder in Nov. 2018. No resolution from Manor Concrete or the builder this year after continued contact. The largest pop out is 2". I've owned 4 previous homes with concrete driveways, patios and sidewalks, I don't recall any rock pop outs. Most certainly not of this magnitude. Disappointed with either very poor concrete or workmanship.
