Brian was great to work with. I had a neighbor's tree that was over my roof and he did a nice job explaining to my neighbor what he was going to do to the tree so that my neighbor was happy with the result also. Also did a great job with a giant maple that needed to be trimmed. Lastly, I had a huge stump ground up and I was happy with that job as well. Great professional work for 25% less than our local "big name" tree company. Previous owner of our home had planted a sugar maple on the south side of our house in S. Minneapolis with only 16 feet separating our home from our neighbors. I should have removed the tree shortly after I purchased our home, but a fast 20 years later, the little 6 foot tree has turned into a 60 foot tree with branches touching the roofs of both homes... a slow motion disaster, or a fast motion one in the next big wind storm. Enter Brian and his excellent staff at MN Tree Surgeons. His staff came about an hour earlier than estimated, I was returning home to prep the area, and they were already at work, having moved all our patio furniture out of the way, a job I had intended to do. A short one hour later, the two "tree surgeons" had raised the tree canopy from 10 feet to 40 feet, creating dare I say, a beautiful work of natural art. I was blown away. All branches were chipped and hauled away using their professional grade equipment, and patio furniture returned to original locations. Highly recommended! read more

Great company to work with. I needed serveral trees at a sorority in Minneapolis trimmed and Minnesota Tree Surgeons went out right away and got me a bid, the work was done immediately and a lot cheaper than the other three bids I had received. I also got a follow up call a few months ago reminding me of the other work that we could do in the spring (previous work was done in the fall). read more

I received a reminder e-mail on July 10th regarding a late payment for service rendered on May 22nd to remove a tree branch that was resting on a wire from pole to house. The invoice was for $200. This was the first follow up to the initial invoice. The e-mail accompanying the invoice read, "Hello, Pay your bill for the tree work I did on bringing your branch back to you I'm going to put it in your driveway." It is inappropriate to threaten customers, even those late on payment. I replied and apologized for the delay due to unexpected issues that popped up in life that caused me to forget about this invoice and letting the company know we intended to pay and take care of payment immediately. I also advised not to threaten customers in the future, even those late on payment (as there are better methods to secure payment), because it breeds bad business. I again apologized and reiterated payment would be taken care of today. I received an immediate response stating, "Thanks for payment 45 days late, lose my number. Your fired" I also feel this response is inappropriate and makes me uncomfortable. This is not the way to deal with any customer. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. read more
