Appointment was made to do service 10/04/21, Joe called to confirm appointment 10/03/21 and called the morning of 10/04/21 to advise when his crew would arrive. I highly recommend This company. I had 4 bids on two silver maple trees that had been neglected for years. Their bid and two others were within $50.00 of each other, the fourth was about $700 dollars higher and for that one I had to fill out a online form of what I needed/wanted, I never seen nor talked to anyone from that company. Point is if you have to fill out three pages of info. And never even speak to a person, don't waste your time. I met with Joe for an estimate he showed up on time. He was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with my lack of knowledge of tree trimming. He told me if there was anything I seen I wanted removed while they were in the tree they would be more than happy to (provided it wasn't harm to the trees health). They showed up on Memorial Day on time as scheduled, very professional and all the proper gear. They removed several branches as promised per my request, they also cut up put to the side for me some bigger pieces I requested for my fire pit. They were also able to clear branches that were laying on ours and our neighbors power lines without dropping the lines. They started at 7:00 and finished by 10:30 cleaned up mine and the neighbors yards better than the were when they started, hauled away all the brush. I now have two beautiful trees! We had Caleb come out to take a look at the trees on our property and then take down one dead tree and trim some others. Caleb carefully assessed the trees on our property and let us know what could be done to them. The prices were very reasonable and I felt our trees were in very good hands (something I wanted to make sure of)! He was careful not to trample our ground covering too, which was great. Just have to say I REALLY wish I had went with these guys instead of the tree service I contracted. The estimate they provided for trim of two silver maples (one medium trim, one major) was 683.59. I went with "A Tree Services Inc" even though their estimate was for about $400 more ($1,077.75), because my fence contractor recommended them, and they could do it a month sooner. Major mistake. (No prior notice, though it was requested; did not take the branches the estimator had pointed out would be taken, came with heavy equipment on my lawn in the rain even though I had told estimator I didn't want them to come when it was raining). Bottom line, WAIT. Neighborhood Tree Care offered a very fair estimate, which included in writing the main thing I wanted done - removal of all branches over mine and neighbor's house. Next time I need any tree work done, I'm going with these guys. read more

Neighborhood Tree Care did such a fantastic job with our maple tree, and the price was so great for the amount of work that they did. They left our house they same way as before they had started their work as well, which was not something we had expected. At one point the team had to go into our neighbors yard to cut down a branch, and just like for us, they cleaned up the leftover branches and debris and left a spotless backyard for them, too. Our tree is massive in our backyard, and I know we are going to want more trimmed at a different time. This is the company I will call from now on. Thank you Caleb, Joe and Nick. They were very competitive on price, and did a fabulous job on the trees at our house. They did work in Spring 2021, but I did not post right away, as I wanted to wait until after summer to report on the health of a particular tree they trimmed. I was worried about a very pretty, but large tree encroaching on my and my neighbor's house in the front yard. I wanted to trim it considerably without killing it or making it look terrible, but had concerns of how that would play out. When I checked back with them when they were done, I saw a very well-balanced, beautiful tree, which has been very healthy since the day they trimmed it months ago. They also did a great job giving us good clearance on the houses, and their price was very reasonable. We also had them take down a tree in the back yard. I only paid them to take it down, but they were kind enough to cut up the trunk into manageable pieces, so we could quickly get to moving them ourselves.
