Dr. Tran was able to explain everything I had going on in a way I could understand, which was a relief. Alyssa, the hygienist, cleaned my teeth so well! Turned out I had to get a filling, which scared me at first, and was able to get that done while I was there. Dr. Brad Samuel came in to do the examination and he was thorough making sure I didn't have any issues. The office staff are wonderful as well. They are attentive to any and all questions. The staff is super-super friendly, warm, and professional. The receptionist was very accommodating, the X-ray tech was friendly and meticulous, and the hygienist was likewise thorough and sociable. The equipment seems like the latest technology. As Christina D. mentions, the dental chairs have massaging backs (a pleasant surprise). Dr. Keider also used a laser imaging tool on my molars to see if there were any crevices that could harbor bacteria out of sight. They offer bottled water and sodas in the waiting area, and have a whole little refreshment section. The goodie bag was chock full, too, which, though unnecessary, is much appreciated by a tooth-obsessive like me. Toothbrush, toothpaste, Listerine, dental floss, dental picks - it's like a miniature drugstore! But the best things I can say are about Dr. Keider himself. His exam was very thorough. He checked my TMJ, lymph nodes, thyroid, and tongue in addition to my teeth. He told me exactly what he was doing during the examination, and genuinely and thoroughly answered all my questions. As Christine mentioned, no one tried to sell me anything; he basically said that my teeth look great and there wasn't anything he'd want to do to them. (They didn't even try to get me to do teeth whitening, which I know they offer, and which is practically requisite in dental practices. I appreciated that.) The only little picky complaints I'd have, aside from the booking error, would be that having Fox "News" playing in the waiting area was a real turnoff and that the hours of operation are pretty limited. (However, he's there at 7:30 am on Monday and Wednesday, so it's easy to get an appointment outside normal business hours.) I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend this office.

Dr Keider took X-rays, examined all my teeth and came up with two plans, the most affordable and the one that was as expensive as my car. It all came down to needing five root canals in additions to the missing smile teeth. I had to go with the least expensive options with possibility of implants in the future. Even though I chose the least expensive option, I was treated no differently. I explained my cPTSD and every effort was made to accommodate me. Apparently, everything is easy with nitrous oxide (great stuff!) It's taken a few months, extractions, fillings and a gentle cleaning but I am smiling again. I have two partials but my husband can't tell the 'new' teeth from my own -they are perfectly matched! It's a great comfort knowing that I can strike dental fear out of my life. I enthusiastically recommend Dr Keider and his staff to anyone regardless of what you need, this is a guy you have no regrets trusting.

When I fell, one of my top front teeth was pushed back with part of my upper lip caught in the space. I was in great pain. I begged and cried for Dr. Temple to please look at me and take a x-ray. They did ask if I was a patient there and I was not. Her receptionist said she would have to check with Dr. Temple and call me back. She did call back saying Dr. Temple was "too busy" to have me come in. I could hear Dr. Temple, in the background, saying to apply ice and eat soft food. I could not believe she was so uncaring and had no compassion for my urgent situation. I would NEVER go to her practice or recommend her to anyone. Terrible, awful service!

But let me say this, I have been twice to Grandover Village Dental and my experience has been extraordinarily pleasant each time. I mean I didn't write the review the first time because I'm like when I go back in 6 months it might be different. Nope! Same great care and pleasant staff from the time I walked in to the time I left. First, let me start off by saying I appreciate the multiple reminders about your appointment. I love the text message option! I'm super busy so this is just convenient for me. Second, my appointment was for 9am and I was called back within 10 min of that time. Next, I'm greeted by amazing dental hygienist name Nicola who was very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail to me. So I've had the luxury of meeting both dentists. Their polite demeanor and explanations of what I needed was like music to my ears. Most dentists, "tell" what you need to do. They explained my options, told me what could wait and what was urgent. And provided me with pros and cons of my decisions. All I can say is that I'm grateful to finally be somewhere that I feel comfortable visiting every 6 months.

I'll start off by saying that I do know Dr Henderson. When I needed a second opinion on some dental…read morematters I figured this would be the perfect place to go, since I knew I would get an honest opinion and not just the most expensive option. The front desk staff was really friendly from scheduling my appointment to checking me in. Sometimes medical receptionists aren't the friendliest, hey I get it it, must be a hectic job, but that is not the case here! My hygienist was friendly and made me feel comfortable. They used this fancy water pressure thing to clean my teeth and get under the gums a bit instead of sitting there scrapping the whole time. This is a step up from the old way of doing things. After Dr Henderson gave her opinion on what to do about my teeth issue, well technically gum issue, Dr Temple came in to consult as well. He was a really friendly guy and was up front and honest with what his opinion was about how to proceed. More of a we will keep an eye on it than run to the specialist right now and drop $3,000 (literally) on the procedure. They were also clear with me about an antibiotic they could use not being covered by insurance and if I still wanted to do it. Knowing I had the option instead of just getting the bill in the mail is always appreciated. Note: When you walk in the building they share a space with another dentist, go to the left not the right!

So after I met Dr Katelyn socially, my husband and I moved our dental care to her. He particularly liked how in the first-time-patient visit, she did the whole exam rather than leave it all to the dental assistant, and explained what she was doing throughout. I was glad too that she used an ultrasonic cleaner to do what is in my experience done with a metal pick and scraper. It made for a very gentle exam.
