so i want to start off by saying that yes i want my house to look amazing - who doesn't! i also want to say that they did a good job once everything was completed, but... it required me to micro manage things. deal with miscommunication. blue tape spots i wasn't happy with. request touch ups in spots they finished or missed. and clean up my floors while touching up my baseboards when everything was finished. setting all of that aside, they did good patch work.... and they have a sprayer thats absolutely amazing. read more

The final exterior painting of my 1960s ranch is good quality with mostly even surfaces. There are some minor irregularities like bubbles and thicker paint in spots, and surface texture shifts with some stucco patches, though I'm guessing that's common for a large job on an old house. In reading the Yelp reviews, another customer mentioned periodically reviewing progress and asking for revisions, and I found that to be helpful advice. Overall, I recommend Mint Condition. I rated 4 out of 5 stars for prep and clean up as minimal tarps were used to protect the landscaping, contrary to the contract. When I asked, they claimed tarps would harm landscaping. Cleaning the residual debris and paint chips in the landscaping wasn't included, though clean up was specified in the contract. When asked the crew did remove larger chips during the final walk through, and the paved areas were left mostly clean. I expect it will take me a couple days and a little money to clean the remaining debris and replace the mulch and rocks I need to remove due to the paint chips. read more

MCP painted the entire exterior of my house, including all of the trim. They did an excellent job, were always on time, courteous, communicated well, and cleaned up every last bit of mess when they were done. We're very happy! Furthermore, they guarantee their work on any surface for 2 years. This came into play for us. After about a year, the paint on the trim around a number of our windows all bubbled up and started peeling. It turns out it was because that trim was a synthetic composite material and not wood, so it needed a different surface preparation and primer. MCP came right back out, scraped it all down, sanded it, primed it, and repainted. They were attentive to my initial email, called me right away, and had a technician out to look within a couple of days. They tested different primers, let them sit in the elements, and re-did all the bubbling or peeled areas. I highly recommend them. They do great work and stand behind it with a great guarantee. read more
