I would not recommend Royal Painting, especially if your project involves repainting doors. They repainted my door, but shortly afterward the paint began bubbling and blistering. The company claimed the issue was caused by "moisture," and returned to repaint it again during a very hot Santa Clarita summer day. Unfortunately, within a week the bubbling reappeared. At this point, the defects are so obvious that they cannot be ignored or overlooked. I am now left having to find and pay for another solution to correct the damage before the holidays. I had a VERY bad experience with Royal Painting. Justin is a painting contractor who runs crews with inexperienced painters that he does not know. He also has many jobs going at once so he is unable to supervise very well. Even after instructing his workmen to repair something one way, they did it their own way, and then he chewed them out in front of me, which I found to be very unprofessional . I know he lost money on my job because things had to be redone two or three times, and a big repair on my French doors was done incorrectly, and then not redone. I know Justin replaced the first crew he had on my house with different (better) painters, but sadly they were adding coats of paint over bad work just making things worse. And because the painters were taking longer than anticipated, when I added something to the job, to make up some of his losses , Justin wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount of money for the addition for which I told him I would pay half of what he was asking and he agreed. I feel I paid a lot of money for "professionals" when I could have probably gotten a better job done by hiring men from the parking lot at Home Depot. read more

In my last review after having the exterior painted, I said I would have the interior painted after the holidays. Well I finally had the time to have it done. I contacted Mr. Kim and he promptly showed up to give me a quote. The quote was very reasonable and they worked within my time frame. Again the prep was outstanding and the subsequent painting was beautiful. He even referred me to as n electrician when I had a problem with my ceiling light. The electrician showed up the same day and fixed the light and updated our switches. The finished product was even better than I had hoped. Royal Painting deserves 10 stars.
