Each time I pay the 60% I get an additional bill from River Valley for almost $600.00. The office manager "Christine" has told me that they have she has to bill with another name for in network. Today she told me she would cancel my next appointment rather than take care of the ongoing "out of network" dilemma. Be careful in choosing this practice for your dental needs. It is more like a car dealership and the office manager is definitely not an asset to the practice or the patients who have trusted their dental needs for 14 years.

When I went in it was not busy and not once did the Dentist ask how my day was or anything about me. This Suprised me coming from my previous dentist and being related to dentists that say making a connection is the first thing you want to do with your customer to show you care. Instead I was told there was no other option even though I've had the same repairs done through using gel instead of injections. Which injections are more expensive then the alternative. Instead of giving options they gave the option and said I could leave and go back to the dentist I had before. Not only was it the environment but it my tooth that got fixed had to have an extension which they chose a shade of yellow instead of white. Now I am stuck with a paper two shades darker extension. The assistants and coordinators made up for it with the environment and atmosphere they created however. The main dentist felt like what we call in the business world an "energy vampire". These people suck the energy out of every situation. I do not see how this could be called a family dentistry with these things happening.

In a nutshell: After evaluation and putting a plan in place, I spent 4+ hours in the chair (my choice) in one seating and had one root canal and the start of 2 implants. The only minor pain I experienced were the injections. I fully expected to be uncomfortable for a few days following. NO discomfort. NO swelling. Took a couple of ibuprofen same day as surgery and the next as a precaution. Honestly, I don't think I even needed it. Very professional operation. State of the art technology and equipment. A wonderful staff led by Dr. Koh. I will update as my treatment goes forward. But if this first round is any indication, I am ecstatic!

THEN he shared personal information about me on my Google review and I had to go to the Dept of Health and Human Services to file a complaint re: HIPPA violations. I was told well the bills arent sent in your name they are sent in the head of house holds name .... then when i told her i didnt consent to the work done because i had no job i couldnt pay for it she said well we wouldnt have had you sign anything so everything there is by word of mouth he said she said things. So me telling them i didnt consent to the extra work being done on my teeth didnt matter because her hygienist would never do that well she did and no one ecer said this would be extra or anything i will never return to somewhere that doesnt obviously care about people and is willing to sue people over things they didnt consent to . My advice to anyone thinking about using this dentist office DONT FIND SOMEONE ELSE !!!!!
