I had a disappointing experience at Mint Dentistry recently for the second time. While the facility itself was modern and welcoming, the interaction with the dental hygienist left much to be desired in the realm of customer service. It seems that they could benefit from having better-trained dental hygienists who understand the importance of maintaining professionalism and respecting patients' boundaries. Nobody wants to be lectured about their dental hygiene habits as an adult, especially when visiting the dentist for routine cleanings. If my dental hygiene was an issue I would not be able to get orthodontics which I'm currently wearing and have two months left so of course the end of that presents normal issues as your teeth are closer together I'm double wired and wearing rubber bands 24/7. But constant questioning and unsolicited opinions about flossing and brushing and then to ask me "has your orthodontist shown you how to floss" felt extremely intrusive and unnecessary. Again, if my teeth were in pristine good condition, I wouldn't be there for regular cleanings every six months. There's certainly a better way to offer guidance and support to patients without coming across as judgmental or offensive. As it's the second time I've experienced this behavior from the same hygienist. It's clear that Mint Dentistry needs to address this issue to ensure a more positive and respectful experience for all patients. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after this experience. read more

First time visiting Mint and I must say I had an amazing experience. Everyone single person I encountered was nice and helpful made you feel like you was in great hands especially the dentist. Definitely will be coming back going forward. read more

It very well may be a great practice but- BIG red flag! When I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist told me I would have to pay a $50 non-refundable deposit! What in the fraudulent dentistry is going on here!!!? Lol! I was a dental hygienist, and have worked in dentistry for 10+ years, I have NEVER heard of an office charging a deposit to book an appointment! Especially not a PPO office. I am surprised this is even legal... this just screams money grab to me. I definitely understand cancellations and no-shows, but that's just part of the business! Anyway, let me go find a more ethical practice for myself and my family! read more

I have been hearing such great things about Mint Dentisity and wanted to come check them out for myself. I was greeted by very professional ladies at the front desk and my wait time was very little to no wait. This had a lot to do with me doing all my paperwork online before coming in. They offer you Beats earphones to listen to Pandora or to watch Nexflix if you like. They even had an offer going were you get a free tube of lipstick. If I could put 0 stars I would, the dentist was the worst, didn't explain anything to me, they numb up my gums no game plan, or at least I wasn't included, then dentist gave me Al sorts of shots to numb me from the pain of the fillings. But I thought I was gonna pass out I started sweating and felt hot like I was having trouble breathing, than she said that was normal and she left me to deal with another patient, meanwhile they handed me the suction tube so I can clean my mouth...I couldn't feel anything!! I just felt my saliva running down the side of my mouth! 3 fillings I cramped up my jaw on the final one, app was at 2:30 pm I didn't get full feeling back until around 7pm I had to eat while I wasn't 100% because I was starving...just an absolute horrible experience. I will never return. If I'm gonna pay for this service, I want to be treated like a human, not some pay check they want to hurry in and out of the chair. My gums where all beat up my bite is a bit off, I'll go back to another office, but after they fix this I'll look for another dental office read more

I had an appointment today and waited for 30 minutes before I asked the front desk how much longer the wait would be. The lady at the front desk said it would be another 15 minutes. Waiting 45 minutes when I had an appointment is unacceptable. I'm no stranger to waiting but waiting for almost an hour is ridiculous. I told them I would reschedule since it was taking so long to get seen. I'm probably going to look for another dentist. I recall waiting for a while on my last visit as well. A friend of mine said she has never had to wait at her dentist's office so it is possible to. Ot have to wait for almost an hour. read more

An absolute money grab!!! Do not go here. They will not honor your insurance benefits. I went for a simple cleaning, I have no cavities, fillings, etc. They would not give me a simple cleaning. The "Dr." suggested a level 2 cleaning that would cost $250, I declined and asked for the basic cleaning. They sent a young lady in to floss my teeth. I said what kind of cleaning is this????? I was told this is all I could get because I didn't spend the $250 and refused the "Dr." treatment plan. They are all about the $$$$$$. Don't be fooled by their commercials. I'm a real Dr. you don't treat patients like this because they won't spend unnecessary money. GO TO A REAL DENTIST!!!! read more

I have been to other Mint Dentistry locations, but this one is by far my favorite! The staff is very friendly and prompt. I actually really enjoyed my dentist visit for the first time and am looking forward to my next visit. They gave great advice and my dentist only gave necessary information on the work I needed to have done (which I knew) versus adding unnecessary things to increase my bill like other dentist I have been to, which I really appreciated! I have been going to MINT Dentistry for years. At the beginning, I was going to the Cedar Hill office and the service was supreme! The last 2 years, they have declined in the services that they offer. They are usually late and I have had to wait over an hour after my appointment time. Last year, after waiting for long periods of time, they will send me a new appointment notification with a new time once they call me to the back. I am thinking that this is to make it seem like I didn't have to wait long. How deceitful and unnecessary! Yesterday, I arrived to my appointment at 2:15. I left the office at 3:20, as I hade been waiting over an hour and I would normally be done with my appointment by now. Unfortunately, I will not have to find another dentist office that will respect my time. read more

Horrible customer service! They do not accommodate you if you don't have insurance, like they say that they do in their commercial. I had an appointment set that was in the afternoon for emergency surgery. I show up to a locked door and lights off. The girl at the desk was on the phone and I waited for her to come to the door. When she finally did, she told me that the equipment was down and she had called everyone to cancel. I had recieved no call or message that day. She acted as if she didn't care when I told her this and told me to call them back to reschedule. That will be a negative! It's been a week and I still haven't recieved a courtesy call back to reschedule (that lets me know that they don't care for my business) I really want my money back! read more

It's amazing how much they care about their patients comfort. Unlike some dentists, my dentist didn't half fast anything. She took her time to clean my teeth properly. Today I visited Mint Dentistry for the first time. It was a very pleasant visit. I had a very little wait time since my paperwork was done online. I was greeted by friendly, professional receptionists. Once I was taken to the back the hygienist who worked with me was also friendly. She gave me the option to watch tv or listen to pandora. My chair vibrated and was capable of heating up, which I chose since it was very cold. That will be my only complaint. The only problem the dentist saw with my teeth was a broken filling that will be repaired. They did not try to run up my bill like the previous clinic I went to. Very dissatisfied customer. Cancelled my kids appointment because you had the wrong phone number. My number had not changed within the past 2 years and my kids are regular patients. You were able to call 6 months ago but now u have the wrong number and the best appointment you could give me is 3 weeks away. This is by far the worst Mint Dentistry. They advised that I had 6 cavities while the other offices did not find any. I have been to the Arlington office, Cedar Hill, and offices in Dallas. I like for my family to all go on the same day and they refused to set the appoint for the the same day advised me that if we cancelled this is their entire day gone, however I have never cancelled a cleaning and my last appointment with this office was my husband, myself and our two daughters. I was told that who ever made the appointment should not have made it. I would not recommend and I will not be back! read more

I can't prove it but I believe mint dentistry recommends to have expensive work done before it's needed,6 months ago with our last dentist everything was fine no dental work needed besides cleaning but on 1st visit to mint both me and wife need crowns root canals and cavities, I guess it's possible to develop all those issues in 6 months but I don't buy it, we have had dental visits every 6 months for past 20 years read more

I was very disappointed in the service at that in particular office.Young lady had difficulties taking X-rays after asking for help.She was told by that person she was asking she was to busy.Another young lady come over to help her and proceeds to jam the film in my mouth.I explained to her that she was hurting me and she ignored me and continued .When she didn't get a good film the third time I told her no more.She preceded to get on her mic and say the lady in room # is refusing to finish her X-ray . I told her no I'm refusing to let you keep hurting me.The original person who was asked to assist politely ask me to let her try and she got the X-ray done in one try! My teeth were half way cleaned with little effort by hygienist and I was told the instructions were in the bag for the Whitening system. I was extremely disappointed .The Dentist came into the office and I felt she did not give me a proper exam.Maybe she was on the other side of the mic when it was stated lady is refusing her X-ray .Not this X-ray has been attempted about 12 times already. To sum this all up I asked to go to another office to have teeth properly cleaned. I was able to walk in to the Desoto office. I was greeted with friendly smiles and courteous service from beginning to end .Hygenist Ashley explained and educated me all along the way during my cleaning. Sombody clearly didn't do their job correctly to update my file properly. I came in on 6/23 to have 2 root canals done and was told to come back in 2 weeks for shading for my crown because I wanted to whiten my teeth. Came back 7/7 to get the shade done and do a bite adjustment, all good. Crown takes 5 weeks to get in, cool. Come to find out when i go back 5 weeks later my crown hadn't been ordered and they had me down for shading. So yall just thought i was whitening for 5 weeks?? Now my wedding is in 2 weeks and I have this big gap, a discolored front tooth thats slanted to the side. Come on now. read more
