If I had known that from the start, I would not have had the procedure done. The dentist left a hard white substance on my teeth that is still here to this day! Dr. Bhakti worked with me for months to get them all taken care of, making a referral when necessary. Even though I was upset about my dental state, his easy-going demeanor actually kept me laughing through most of my appointments and I'm happy with the final result of my teeth.

I had a tooth cleaning at this periodontist, because I was not okayed to return to my dentist in Galveston, to a tune of $172. As a person on disability, I am never charged for cleanings. "Oh well, you're out-of-network", I was told by the office staff of the periodontist. Dr Manuele/Schiedler is a worthless dentist. I will never return to this office as long as I live.

Basically, my main visits to the Dentist were surgery related (extractions, fillings, root canals, etc). These experiences were not that great, as the work itself did not hurt but the injections (to numb) the gum, hurt so bad, that I cried every time. I had a very sweet tooth as a child. I hated going to the dentist, no matter what it was for (even for a check-up). I was referred to Affordable Dental by a friend. I live in Houston but I was willing to drive to Galveston (45 minutes) based on a referral. So they had better be good. I got there a bit early (I am usually late for everything lol). They quickly took my information and then I went for consultation. Long story short, I had to extract 2 teeth and do a deep cleaning (refer to my background lol). I still have to extract another wisdom tooth but I thought 2 extractions were enough for one day. So had my deep cleaning, no biggie. The extraction was next, here comes the NEEDLES. Fast forward (after the extraction), I had little or no pain when I received the injection, and coming from me that is a miracle. My gums were sore, of course I just had two extractions but after a day or two, the weird feeling went away. I also, would like to comment the dental assistant, as my deep cleaning was great, I use to have gum bleeding but no more. Also, I'm not sure if my insurance was that great or their prices were really affordable. I have never been to a dentist office paying less than I did. I would HIGHLY recommend this place, and I have already scheduled by cleaning for September and another procedure in December.

The front desk and hygienists were some of the least friendly I've dealt with in 30+ years. This establishment screams unfavorable and I wish I would have read the reviews prior to bringing my daughter. She is covered under disability insurance and it was the closest covered dental. She has a very painful broken back tooth with impacted wisdom teeth. Do NOT waste your time.. I'm concerned at this point if this is even a proper licenses facility.

At one visit, a lady was there before us and after we'd been sitting there for 2 hours she walked out and the girls behind the desk proceeded to talk shit about this woman who didn't want to spend all day sitting in their dank/dirty ass lobby. On another visit, I'm standing in line to talk to one of the receptionists and when she is done with the person in front of me, she completely ignores the fact that I'm standing there and yells for another patient to come to the desk and discusses their payment and such (while I'm still standing there) which could/should have waited until after she answered my question. 5. Then TODAY... I'm sittin in the lobby, with no a/c mind you, for 45 minutes when the receptionists look up and ask me if someone sent our chart to the back. I tell them that I don't know, but nobody has called us. Then she tells me that "there must have been a misunderstanding" because the f'ing orthodontist has left for the day!! Are you f'ing kidding me?!!??! I'm not sure why (with the experiences we've had up to this point) but I am in utter disbelief!
