We visited on a quiet Thursday evening and were one of two couples dining...that's all. However we felt involved, respected, and the dining room had a lovely warm ambiance so one didn't feel that you were left sitting for hours.
Where to start well....Simon the chef/owner took time to explain to a couple of Vermont based Brits what/when/why and how...and then he produced a terrific supper. He cares, he's got a style of presentation that's been honed in larger operations, BUT he can now individually bring clients along for the ride.
It could bo so up it's own posterior....but it is NOT!
His sous vide egg dish starts the proceeding off and then we had a brilliant selection of dishes. pointless really to say what as everything is seasonal and cooked fresh.
All we know is that for $69.00 pp a four course delight was produced and we felt VERY HAPPY!
