We were really happy with Minute Muffler who put a catalytic converter CAGE on our car. I showed up with no appt at 8 am and in less than an hour, I was on my way home. The cage was secured well and protected with paint. Well worth it! And great warranty service. We were victims of the CAT thievery. I have done work of my car in 1357 32 ave NE Minute Muffler. There is Judy Chandra who is so rude. Work is not done properly and she is not listening over acting and misbehaving. She is refused to check the car the problem is same. How can she refused if I paid and have one year warranty? I must say she is not good in her work and minute muffler is loosing customer. I am not making any accusations I am only stating what I SAW and the SERVICE I RECEIVED: ************WATCH OUT AND NEVER USE THIS PLACE I took my car here for exhaust and new muffler. All of a sudden it turned into an entire day ordeal and they were examining every part on my car and replacing it. The mechanic had my rear axel out and shocks and steering column and everything apart and replaced everything with pick n pull parts the owner told me. Nothing was wrong with my car and I only wanted a new exhaust. AT first they put an under axle exhaust and I told him that it needs to be over the axle or it will get hit by bumps. Went in to get a custom catback put on. Was looking to get a magnaflow set up but instead was persuaded to get a flowpro knockoff. Was way overcharged for flow pro parts (hangers, y pipe, glass pack). With that saying the exhaust sounds nice and work is well done. read more

Everything about this shop is top notch. I called some other shops who weren't nearly as friendly. Also, other shops weren't nearly as available as minute muffler&Brake Here are some of the things I liked about this shop that STAND OUT from the competition. 1. The shop answered the phone promptly, were polite and offered same day service. In fact, they offered to do it whenever I could bring the car in- THE SAME DAY. 2. The girl at the desk was very professional and polite. also note- Ravi came highly recommended for any exhaust work from A VARIETY OF different people and it is no surprise. I was satisfied with the work. I was satisfied with the price. Anyone considering getting exhaust work - BRING YOUR WORK TO RAVI. This shop is the best experience I've had with a car- period. Also, I wanted to mention: The business license, and journeyman certificate was in the main lobby for you to see. FYI- they have a guy working there who's been a licensed journeyman since 1983! The muffler component became detached due to rust, so I had to take my car in to get it welded back onto the exhaust bracket. My friend recommended me to get it fixed at Minute Muffler & Brake; there was a closer shop available, but I was more familiar with the area surrounding the N.E. shop so I decided to take the car there instead. The shop opened before 8 AM and took my car in as soon as I checked in with the receptionist. The receptionist was friendly and explained everything clearly enough for a layman like me to understand. I brought my own reading materials, but the waiting area had a few books and lots of magazines and newspapers; for a quick service, it wouldn't be a bad idea to just wait there (there's also a Tim Hortons nearby). The receptionist said it should take around 40-45 minutes for the service, but the repair ended a bit sooner. I am no car expert, but, in my opinion, the price of the service seemed more than reasonable. Even though it is a bit far away from where I live, I would definitely come back here if I needed a repair for the exhaust system again. Thanks for reading. Five stars. read more

Maybe they are good at fixing mufflers, but they bombed at oil changes!! Picked up my vehicle & the hood seemed ajar? Took a quick look & someone left a wrench in by the hood hinge. ( no wonder the hood wouldn't close properly!) They use sub par oil filters, And can't install them properly! Found out the hard way! ( thanks for wrecking my driveway guys) They did not bother to check my air filter, which was filthy. Do you think they would cover an engine repair? Stay far away! Oh & by the way I booked everything trough Ravi!! Didn't help me much, just cost me more money! Not impressed~ One other thing, bring some disinfecting wipes with you... My steering wheel & inside door handle had greasy hand prints all over! Oh & two nice big hand prints on my hood! read more

Amazing experience! I called on a whim and they were able to take a look at my car immediately. My car had a rattling heat shield and other mechanics had previously quoted me to replace it. But these guys reattached the heat shield and the whole experience took 30 minutes from the time I dropped it off to the time I was driving away rattle-free. They even swapped my wind shield wipers that I had bought at Canadian tire. And the whole experience was dirt cheap! I'll be back for sure :) read more

I had an exhaust restriction, and brought my vehicle to a competitor, and all they did is check codes (which I had already done) and told me they could not proceed until I fixed an o2 sensor and that they had no way to find the restriction. Called Minute Muffler today, and he told me to come right down. They had my car in right away, found the restriction in about 2 minutes, and had me out the door in an hour for a very reasonable price. Will not be bringing my car anywhere else. I realize that most people here think they are getting a deal. Truth is, you all need to have your parts looked at, by an unbiased party. A vast majority of the time, the mechanical work done at this shop is a joke; a patch job for a seemingly low price. Don't be fooled by smiles and under the table deals, (that seem like they're saving you money, but really aren't). Don't even take my word for it; get your mechanical work checked out by actual professionals. You'll see exactly what you paid for then. There's a reason this guy goes on vacation every month; your hard earned dollars are funding that. Like I said, you don't have to take my word as the truth, just do yourself the honor of spending your hard earned dollars somewhere where you do not have to question the work being done. If you have had work done here, do yourself the honor of getting it checked out. There are plenty of great shops out there; this unfortunately is NOT one of them. read more
