Horrible/unclean service. I called in at 4pm and the mechanic told me he needed 1hr more because he needed to take the other balljoints off. Went on to pick up/pay at 5pm. He charged me an extra 1.5 hours on the one side. He asked me, "what do you want me to do it for free?!" Also, checked my ball joints. I had my motorhome brought in for an oil change and replace diesel filters while I was out of town. He did not send me the invoice until after I gave him my credit card. I was charged double what the same parts cost at CT. And was charged extra labour over book times. I asked why the excessive charge for parts and why the extra labour. I had numerous emails with Clint the owner as he did not return my phone calls. I said it was excessive and said I just wanted a reasonable price. He tried to rationalize the price but could not and finally credited a portion of the charge back. I had gotten a quote from the local for dealer and used that as a comparison. I try to be fair and honest in my business dealings but would advise you get firm prices for parts and labour before you sign on with this outfit. read more

This so called Business has no problem ripping you off, lying to you and making sure they don't fix the issue you went in for. They do not care about the safety of their customers. Very poorly managed (Clint is owner) and I would not recommend him to anyone. Scary when you rely on a truthful person to fix your car yet he doesn't and puts your life at risk as well as others, after trying to get this fixed 4x I left and will never go back. I wish I could give them a lower star, this place is an absolute joke, went in asking to get a straight pipe welded in the place of my resonator, all these "welders" did was clamp a pipe in the place of my resonator and tack welded it in place, I'm pretty sure my battery was connected throughout the whole process, luck these guys didn't fry my 50k dollar car, also charged me 94 bucks, this place needs to be shut down read more

Avoid this place at all costs! So I had an appointment at 12:30 on may 3rd 2018. So I bought a universal varex muffler online and needed someone to weld it up and the town I live in doesn't have a muffler shop and Cranbrook was the closest option. When I brought my car in I went under neath the lift with the guy and explain exactly what I wanted done. What I brought in with me was a universal varex muffler, a walker pipe that had a flange that bolted right up to muffler that I payed for, a gasket for the muffler and 2 bolts. So after the car was done I picked it up and drove it home. So a couple days later I had to do some work on my car and I went underneath to notice that he didn't use the flange I provided and instead the guy welded the pipe right the the muffler basically wrecking it and making it so I have to remove my whole exhaust from my turbo back to remove my muffler even tho i went out of my way to explain what I wanted done So this is where it gets interesting. So when I noticed what they did I called the shop to explain what happened and (un) luckily enough the guy who picked up the phone was the guy who did my muffler. He explained that the pipe I brought in was the wrong one and that he had no other choice but to weld the pipe directly to the muffler even tho I had it bolted up when I brought it in. So when I told him that I was frustrated the he didn't contact me before making that decision he decided to hang up on me. So I waited 15 mins to call back and I ended up talking to a guy named Clint. He told me that they were very busy and to email my situation with pictures and that he would get back to me when he got off work. So he never got back to me about it Another thing I noticed is that on my bill I got charged for a 'pipe ce' even though I brought it in with me. The best shop in town. I have been taking my vehicles there for a couple of years and have always been treated fairly and friendly. There pricing is competitive and they always tell me my options. One thing to remember though, is that you have to make sure they know what the problem is, several times I have asked them to check an additional item but it didn't get written down so when I picked up the vehicle it wasn't checked. read more
