Upon arrival, I was told I might not be seen because they were backed up, and that someone would let me know. I waited 25 minutes with no follow-up and no one at the front desk. In severe pain, I knocked and asked another staff member if I could be seen. I was told yes -- but the front desk clerk couldn't check me in because she was busy giving another patient an X-ray. After another 30 minutes, I was finally informed of a $50 copay. I asked why that was required, as I have never had to pay copays before, and I was met with nothing but rudeness, dismissiveness, and nasty body language that was just so uncalled for. The lack of communication, compassion, and basic professionalism here is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to seek care elsewhere.

Well, after 40 minutes she went up and the two ladies were still talking to the clerk. This is unprofessional and uncalled for. My friend was not even respectfully greeted. A man came in and the clerk told him that he needed his id. He sat down and we left. We went to the uc on Clearview and West Metairie and were treated royally. This needs to be addressed. I'm genuinely upset after being denied care and treated with unexpected hostility by a nurse on staff. I first visited on Thursday and was tested for strep. Even though the test came back negative, I was still treated for strep. Over the next 48 hours, my symptoms worsened significantly. I called the Ochsner nurse line (reached directly through the clinic's phone number...!?) and was told to return as soon as I could to be evaluated for a possible abscess, since the original treatment wasn't working and the strep test was negative. However, when I returned, I was met with attitude and dismissed. I was told the Ochsner nurse's line had "nothing to do" with this clinic, despite being directly connected through their phone system. I was told it was a waste of my and their time to be seen again despite coming because I was told it was urgent I returned. I am left in pain and confusion, feeling like a burden for simply following the advice from their nurse's line. This experience has left me feeling disregarded, and honestly, in tears. I hope this feedback encourages the staff to treat future patients with more compassion and coordination.

Unlike many urgent care facilities where you just get a Nurse Practitioner, I got a REAL doctor who took care of me. In fact, I've been here 4 times since they've opened last year. I have very bad respiratory issues and they're right by my job -- point right there! When I come, their staff is extremely quick and they even helped me take care of my very first UTI!! (Hate to admit, but they did) and they even had their own lab machines in-house! I was even able to get my prescription ON THE STOP -- TOP THAT! I was floored and I can honestly say that I have received unparalleled care each and every time I've gone there. I've never waited more than 15 mins to see a doctor and the one time t hey didn't have the drug I needed in stock, they faxed a prescription to my local pharmacy of choice so I could have it filled without delays! I could go on and on but I must say -- not sure what the other reviewer was referring to, but I'm guessing that since they've opened, they've done nothing but sharpened all their rough surfaces, cause everything i saw and felt was extremely smooth. Oh, and don't forget -- they actually CALLED both my home phone AND cell phone the next day to ask me how I was feeling. Of all the urgent care units I've seen, I have never had one actually call to ask how I was feeling. In fact, they've done this every time I've seen them, so I know it's not fake, it's truly genuine of them. If you ask me, I can't ask for something else.

Once I arrived, I was sold (/required to wear) two masks (one for me and one for my wife). The receptionist asked me what was wrong with me, and she went to the back to tell the doctor. I was promptly told by the receptionist "the doctor here doesn't do finger cuts." I did appreciate being refunded the $2 for the masks, but I am not clear why a "cuts/stitches" urgent care center offers no stitches on cuts. It was urgent enough that I really didn't appreciate driving through rush hour traffic to another more qualified business after being turned away from this place. Do not go to this place if you need urgent care.

This was frustrating because I have used the same insurance multiple times at In & Out Urgent Care on Labarre Road without any issues. The front desk employee even requested my Social Security number in an attempt to locate my insurance information, but they still claimed they could not find it. When I offered to pay out of pocket so I could still be seen, the doctor appeared uninterested in helping me and gave me the impression that they wanted me to leave. Since the clinic was closing in about an hour, it felt like they were looking for a reason not to see me. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. The lack of effort to find a solution and the poor customer service left me feeling dismissed and uncared for.
