This particular urgent care center was closest to my work at South Hills Village so came here for the first time. I was very impressed. On a Saturday around 10 am, I was a walk-in without a prior appointment. I checked in at the kiosk and was immediately summoned to take and record my info (I was the only one in the waiting room). Then I was immediately taken to an exam room where the nurse took my vitals and washed my affected area. Then, with only a few minutes wait I saw the tech who prescribed an antibiotic, applied an antiseptic, dressed the bite wound and drew around the red area with a marker so I could monitor in case it spread. I was given instructions that if it did spread I was to head to the ER pronto for possibly IV antibiotics. They called in the prescription yo the Giant Eagle pharmacy close by so I could fill and start taking before I headed into work. I then exited without having to checkout or anything. I just want to say how impressed I was with the care I received from all parties. They were fast, efficient, caring, and all steps and instructions were clear.

There's been a deterioration in the attitude of some of the front office staff. It has apparently been difficult to hire and retain quality, empathetic, hard working employees. Some are still very good, but others not so much. The phone frequently goes unanswered, there's not a confirmation that you've reached Medi-Help when you call, and you can't leave a voicemail message. Two weeks ago, I was sick and had been unable to reach anyone during office hours. I needed to relay a message to my doctor, who'd previously told me to let him know if a medicine he prescribed wasn't working out. So I asked my husband to drive there and have someone call me. The person at the front desk flat-out refused. My husband very uncharacteristically lost his temper with her. After having been a very satisfied patient himself, he will never return. The hours of operation have been cut back dramatically. They are not open 9am - 9pm, as is stated on Yelp.

For individuals who came on certain visa types and had their medical exam abroad with a panel physician within 12 months of their green card application date, a full medical exam isn't necessary when applying for their green card. The woman with whom we initially spoke said they had "never done a partial form before." I pointed her to the section at the bottom of the first page of the form which explains when a partial is required, which she read but repeated her statement about not doing a partial. She finally went to the doctor, Dr. Bora Janicijevic, and asked him to come talk to us. He came out just long enough to say, "If you don't like it, go somewhere else." Given that this is a very invasive exam, it's no small matter to argue with having to do it all over again. Not to mention that the cost is around $500, which was already paid for the same exam abroad. This should disqualify this doctor from being a civil surgeon, as it is a blatant exploitation of those going through legal immigration processes to force them to undergo a lengthy, invasive, and costly exam when only a verification of their vaccine records is required by USCIS for the application. I cannot recommend this practice. Office staff is not friendly, and the issue I've just described is not a minor thing.

Despite all of Aetna and Walgreen's assurances that they would be in-network and costs would be covered 100%, we were socked with a $39.99 charge PER CHILD for the Flu-Mist. Almost 45 days later, we are still waiting for Walgreen's Billing Analysts to review the charges and the Aetna EOBs we submitted showing that this should have been covered 100%. Walgreen's continues to give us the run-around hoping we will just go away so that they can keep the $160 that they charged us. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNETHICAL PRACTICES

My first visit was unfulfilling, second, unfulfilling. The physician I saw could have cared less about anything I talked to her about. The third year I came here for my yearly physical, I decided to go to another physician and give this place the benefit of the doubt. Somehow, this appointment went worse than the first two. The doctor actually took a phone call while she was seeing me for my appointment. And here, I thought I had seen it all. I would never, ever recommend that anyone come here.
