I brought my elderly mom here for an…read moreissue with a rash on her back and the young inexperienced PA did not know what it was or even treat her for the condition we came for. All this place did was take her blood pressure, told her it's very high and to go to ER room right away because "she could have a stroke any moment." They gave no medications to help with anything, nothing but fear mongering. She gets anxious at doctors offices which was the cause for her spiked blood pressure. But I took her to the ER anyway and it was a nightmare. 3 hour wait and another needless medical bill all thanks to Chai. They got over $200 from insurance for only checking blood pressure and still billed for over $100 more afterwards ONE YEAR later. No one will ever answer the billing line or return voicemails. I regret bringing her to this greedy shady place. Now, over 1.5 years later they are still sending threatening emails about the ridiculous bill. I am going to look into reporting them to the AMA and insurance company. Please do not go here or bring your friends or family!

this review is specifically for the pharmacy, i used the pharmacy in this cvs for at least 6 years…read moreand i no longer do because cvs stopped taking my insurance (and after switching to a better pharmacy i'm glad they did) first things first, the woman with the shaved head that works here is the best, i didn't catch her name, but i wish the rest of the pharmacists that worked here were as good as her or at least seemed to care at all. the times i had issues the other pharmacists were puzzled on, they would call her over and she'd either fix it or explain what's going on; asking anyone other than her questions that were any more complex than "when will my prescription be ready" usually either got me no where or i'd have to stand there for 15 minutes while they slowly figure it out. multiple times i had issues with my insurance and they would have to ask her for help to actually resolve it lol. the drive through and the in store line are soooooo slow, especially on days when it's busy, but the drive through is worse though without getting into specifics, when i updated something about my identity legally, they told me they deleted the old info and updated my info and i don't have to worry about it anymore; i found out TWICE that the outdated info they "removed" from my chart was still in the system, even the first time that i asked them to remove it, it was STILL there afterwards likely being read by technicians and i didn't know; that's seriously incompetent. having to talk to a robot on the phone about my meds is really annoying i switched to hackensack meridian pharmacy which is just a couple blocks away from the cvs pharmacy and it is LEAGUES better; have never had a line longer than three people while at cvs i'd frequently have to wait behind more than 8, great environment, pharmacists that actually seem like they care, no insurance issues, etc!

After contacting my insurance directly, they confirmed that this information was FALSE and that there were no coverage issues. This misinformation delayed access to my prescribed medication. (life or death meds) On the most recent visit, my 70-year-old father, who has difficulty walking, waited approximately 40 minutes in line at the pharmacy. Due to an error made by a pharmacy employee, he was instructed to return to the back of the line. When he expressed concern about the excessive wait time, he was told to get out of the car and come into the pharmacy, despite his mobility limitations. Later that day, not all of my prescribed medications were dispensed to my father. When I called the pharmacy to ask why my medications were not refilled they said there was an error and that I should return later. When I explained that I was ill and unable to easily leave the house, the pharmacist AL IMPIRLE responded by stating "you should switch to another pharmacy, there are many in the area" unprofessional, dismissive, and rude and he failed to address the unresolved medication access issue. I contacted the pharmacy directly on multiple occasions to clarify insurance coverage and medication availability. I also contacted my insurance provider, who confirmed there is or was any coverage issues. Additionally, I contacted CVS corporate customer service to report these concerns. Despite these efforts, the issues continued and were not adequately resolved. This CVS pharmacy has had repeated and serious issues since receiving all customers from rite aid which closed down the road, but my most recent experience crossed a line that no professional in the medical field should ever cross. This location consistently shows poor communication, lack of accountability, and disregard for patient needs--especially for elderly or medically vulnerable individuals. I would strongly caution others who rely on timely, respectful pharmacy care.

So I went there and because my cardiologist ordered the blood work they refused to do it. My cardiologist had faxed a referral for the blood work over to their office.
