Never has Urgicare told me or any family and friends this. They make sure you have the treatment you need and address any concerns that might have. Brought the paperwork that my employer needs. Medical provider at Concentra refused to sign it, claimed it was "against federal law" to do so. Balked at providing any kind of valid work excuse. When I pressured them for something, because I don't want to lose my job because of unexcused absences, they gave a handwritten note saying "please excuse XXXX on these dates". No reason, no symptoms, no likely diagnosis, nothing. Of course, they charged my insurance and collected a co-pay before they would even see me. When I called the following week, asking whether they could provide a HIPAA form to fill out (federal authorization to release medical information) the woman acted like she didn't know what that was. They provided nothing of value and charged me for it, possibly endangering my job.
