Never has Urgicare told me or any family and friends this. They make sure you have the treatment you need and address any concerns that might have. Especially as I was unmedicated?? Why was I forced on my back when it was the one position that brought me blinding pain? I have been receiving care at Aurora Medical in Kenosha and have generally had positive interactions with my doctors. Currently, my GI doctor is unavailable. I reached out to the on-call service to request that the doctor prescribe my medication, which was initially due on April 30th, 2026. GI Dr. Wang, however, deemed my infection non-emergency. Following multiple calls to Aurora over several hours, Dr. Wang eventually returned my call, indicating that my situation was not a priority and advised me to wait until Monday. I am experiencing considerable pain, which Dr. Wang seemed unconcerned about. I am apprehensive about the care Dr. Wang provides to his patients.

When I pressured them for something, because I don't want to lose my job because of unexcused absences, they gave a handwritten note saying "please excuse XXXX on these dates". No reason, no symptoms, no likely diagnosis, nothing. Of course, they charged my insurance and collected a co-pay before they would even see me. When I called the following week, asking whether they could provide a HIPAA form to fill out (federal authorization to release medical information) the woman acted like she didn't know what that was. They provided nothing of value and charged me for it, possibly endangering my job.

There is often one cashier at check out, and they haven't gone to self-check out (yet). Just for fun I stopped at the photo desk and asked if they could develop some film for me and the young lady working looked so confused I smiled for hours afterwards. Adequate parking.
