There is a real emergency room at Lansdowne Hospital just a few miles away, and like I said before unless you get hit in the parking lot by a unruly driver (I would still recommend you think twice) go to Lansdowne where they wont rip you off with predatory contracts, and unsavory billing methods. Hopefully their will be something useful to the community moving in when they file Bankruptcy. Their business practices are criminal to say the least. Fat-cat business managers telling young uniformed employees what to say because they do not have the fortitude to pick up the phone and talk to disgruntled customers. If you work here there are so many other places you can work. Why waste your careers on such a uncaring company.

I'm a day away from having…read moreinsurance but needed care for a blister that became infected on my foot to the point where I couldn't walk! My fiancé and I showed up promptly at 8:30 am on Saturday 7/27. We payed $200 for the service upon entry. We were seen very quickly as we were the only ones there that early. The doctor looked at my ankle and touched it in one area which hurt and she just said, "ok, I'm going to put you on antibiotic". She left the room and that was it! No diagnosis nothing! The nurse came back in with two pieces of paper. My diagnosis was Cellulitis which can be very serious! My mother was hospitalized for it once before. I started the antibiotic immediately and by the following day (today) I had spiked a fever of 102.2 and had many aches. I called for advice as my paperwork says that I should "return for a final examination in 7-10 days or sooner if signs of systemic infection (eg, fever with expanding cellulitis) or abscess recurrence are present". I explained my symptoms and was merely told that I should go to the hospital for bloodwork if I'd like. I've already spent $200 at this point and was given no verbal instructions on how to care for this or signs to watch out for. I called back to ask for answers to my questions since I had spent $200. This was at 3:15 and they told me that they were very busy and would call when they can. My life could be in danger and I think I deserve instructions and answers before I go pay through the roof hospital bills during my insurance lapse before my new job which starts tomorrow! If I was going to have to do that anyway I would have gone there first and saved myself the initial $200 at urgent care! Fast forward to 7/31 the infection got worse! I went to Patient First where the customer service was superb and it's much more affordable paying out of pocket. After blood work and changing my prescription to the correct one the amount was lower than what I paid at Express Care for nothing positive! They had put me on the wrong meds at Express Care and even after experiencing many of the serious side effects they advised me to continue use of the meds they had prescribed. Very unhappy and I want my money back!

Heidari, Rezvan, FNP was thorough in her exam and ordered up an in clinic treatment , then ordered meds to treat me. Great service. Only advice was my aftercare note had some more OTCs to take and I wish I had been told those before leaving so I could have picked up at Harris Teeter. Strong recommend though with this FNP.

    Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Treatment at Urgent Care…read moreTo Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent visit to your urgent care facility located at: 20070 Ashbrook Commons Plaza, Unit 104 Ashburn, VA 20147 I visited your facility because I was experiencing several health concerns, with my primary complaint being significant pain. From the beginning of my visit, the receptionist and the nurse treated me professionally and respectfully, and I appreciate their assistance. Unfortunately, my experience with the treating physician was completely unacceptable. When the doctor entered the examination room, she asked what had brought me in. As I began explaining all of my symptoms so she could properly evaluate my condition, she interrupted me before I could finish. She stated in a rude and dismissive tone, "What can I do that you can't eat? I'm here for the pain. Tell me about the pain." I tried to explain that I wanted to provide the full history of my symptoms so she could understand what was happening from the beginning. Instead of allowing me to speak, she continued to display an unprofessional attitude and made additional comments that I found disrespectful and upsetting. Her behavior made me feel dismissed rather than cared for as a patient. The interaction became so unpleasant that I left the examination room without providing any medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or plan of care. I left the facility feeling that my medical concerns had not been addressed at all. I waited approximately 30 minutes for this appointment, yet I received no meaningful medical care. Because no treatment or evaluation was provided, I do not believe I should be charged for this visit. I am requesting the following: That this visit be reviewed by your management. That any charges related to this visit be removed. That I receive a written response regarding the outcome of your investigation. That appropriate action be taken to ensure patients are treated respectfully and professionally in the future. I remain concerned because I am still not feeling well. If my condition worsens and it is determined that my concerns were not appropriately evaluated during this visit, I reserve all rights available to me regarding this matter.     I decided to stop here in my way to work one day for a suspected ear infection. I had never been…read morehere before but it was convenient and on the way. I like the check-in process which is all digital, so no awkward lingering while you wait for the desk person to notice you. I was then called back quickly to o be fully checked in. I like their process of sending a text message with your number in line and that you can track how far along you are and when your turn is coming up. I am still undecided on the policy of having you swipe your credit card so it can be charged later, after insurance has been billed. I understand the intent, but I much rather getting a bill that I can pay and budge for appropriately. While I was waiting I noticed that my. I bet was skipped over and the mother of one of the nurses who works there was called in before me... but it turns out she had left so then I got to go next... as intended. Nepotism at work? Getting called back I did not be up waiting in my room for about 10-15 min for the doctor. Bedside manner could have been better but my issue was pretty straightforward. They have a pharmacy onsite which is super convenient so I could start taking my antibiotics right away! Also, phone chargers in the room and a sign that indicates they are truly interested in keeping you comfy. All told, I was in and out in about an hour. Not fantastic for mid-morning on a Thursday, but also not awful. I would go back.

The phrase 'urgent care' means treatment SOON, NOT 24 HOURS LATER!! I'll self treat with baking soda and cold compresses. BTW, patient first says they are open 24/7 365 If so,WHY DONT THEY ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Don't waste your time here.
