Shortly after arriving I was told i would be seen by the Doctor Travis Williams - he eventually came out took a good look at my hand & explained what procedure he was going to take to get me up and out of there. I was eventually called to the back where my height & weight was taken & then told to wait in the patient room. Not long after Dr.Williams came in and saw me crying due to experiencing a high volume of emotions at once & did an amazing job helping me relax so he could start my numbing and sutures. WHEN I TELL YOU - TRAVIS WILLIAMS NEEDS A PAY RAISE IMMEDIATELY & IM NOT OVER EXAGGERATING OR JOKING. GIVE THE MAN A BONUS OR SOMETHING!!!!! The attention to detail, constantly making sure I was okay, beyond kind & such a sweet soul to even encounter. He did SUCH A GOOD JOB, IM STRUGGLING TO LITERALLY PUT IT INTO WORDS. Dr.Williams is honestly god-sent & when it comes time I will have to go back 11/10/25 to get these stitches out & I plan to call up there to try and schedule an appointment with Dr.Williams because he did just such a good job . I hope everyone who comes here is able to experience this the the way I did !

Signed up for a slot to be seen because I was worried that I had a punctured ear drum. 7/17/2022…read more The nurse practitioner called me before I came in at 9:12am. She was very dismissive and even after hearing what happened to me the last time I had a puncture (horrible pain, horrible bilateral infection, had to have a procedure done by an ENT, 3 rounds of antibiotics, pain meds, couldn't hear, and panic attacks), told me she would not prescribe an oral antibiotic because it was too soon for an infection to have developed and "that's not how antibiotics work." She stated that even for a perforation, ear drops are not recommended. When I asked what could be the possible reason that I was in excruciating pain just 4 hrs after the rupture happened last time if infections take 2 days to develop, the response was "It doesn't look like you were seen by anyone in Saint Luke's Health System for that, so I would be unable to comment on what happened before, I can only address what's happening now." She said there would not be anything she could do for me since I did not have an infection yet. The implication was clearly "Don't come in." Not a bit of compassion. I saw a doctor at a different urgent care who told me the nurse practitioner's medical advice was INCORRECT and unprofessional. She was concerned that it was someone in her system and if it had been she would have "called and yelled at them". Her words. My drum was not perforated, yet the doctor prescribed me antibiotic ear drops prophylactically based on my history. I would not trust the bit@h you have working there to treat my DOG. In the words of Big Sean, "I don't fu$k with you, you little stupid a$$ bit@h I ain't fuc$king with you."

I have had only exceptional experiences with Dr. Rahto and his team taking great care of my health needs. But yesterday was especially important for me as I came into the office in crisis mode regarding my health issues and how that has/is impacting my job/career, my life, and my future - and they made sure that I was well taken care of and spent the extra time with me in order to do so. They were incredibly professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate - something that's rare to find these days as most other medical experiences make you feel like just a number. They made me feel like family. Hayley took the extra time and attention to detail to help me fill out medical paperwork and I felt truly cared for and supported every step of the way. She was incredibly patient with me as I asked many questions and knowledgeable in guiding me through it - I appreciate that more than you know. Thank you all again for the exceptional care and kindness - you've earned every one of these five stars!

No other symptoms so I contributed this to possibly the spicy food and weather changes. This is normal for me. By Tuesday evening I felt like my throat was closing and I saw white patches on my tonsils. I've gotten strep several times throughout the years so I have become a pro at identifying strep. Still, I understand we have covid going on. I call into work the next day so I can get treatment but because I have a sore throat, stiff neck, and a headache, they require I get tested for covid. Okay, fine. I asked if I can still be seen for strep and I'm told no, only with a negative test result. I'm puzzled because my treatment should not be determined by whether I have covid or not. I still have something else wrong with me and I have to go to work. Im told if I do have covid then it's probably not strep and I will just quarantine. I ask if it's possible to have both. Im told it is, but I can only be seen after quarantine. I test negative for covid, so I can be seen now, but will have to wait until the next day. In that time I've spiked a fever, chills, body aches, weakness, loss of appetite, and I have insomnia. Call another clinic, they tell me to come in, no negative test result needed. I test positive for strep. Got my antibiotics. Good to go. I say all of this to remind everyone of why it's important to be your own advocate for your health...They wanted me to have covid so bad, they forgot about all other conditions. Shame on you.

Quite often, I need to see someone right away, and their regular pediatrician is on call at this location once a week, and I tend to set appointments for the kids to see her here instead of in Olathe by the hospital. (I live in Shawnee, so the convenience of the drive is much better!) The walk in is awesome, the doctors and nurses are all awesome!

I was treated like a junkie when talking about medication. I was medicated and diagnosed with adhd in the past but a 40 mg vyvanse prescription scarred me for life as a middle school aged kid. They wanted a drug test. At the time, I had been smoking. I admitted that, and they promptly denied me care because they said I'd sell it in college. I have my diagnosis. I gave yall my diagnosis. Is that not the requirement? I even offered to quit, take a drug test after three weeks, and come back. They denied that too. All because Dr Guevara over there is scared of his license being put in jeaprody. You want your patients to tell you guys the truth, yet when they do, it's thrown back in your face. Even Dr Brockmeyer treated me like a 10 year old child. Absolutely rage inducing. Never ever recommending. My whole family is no longer in his patient base.
