This CVS is the nearest pharmacy/general store that is open 24/7 to my residence. I have never had a bad experience here. The store is well lit, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The store has a varied selection of cosmetics, household items, personal items, food and drinks, and over the counter pharmacy items. The Pharmacy itself is open 24 hours like the store and they have a minute clinic, where you can be seen if you are ill. The Minute Clinic hours are as follows: M-F 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM Sat 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Sun 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM The store itself has some pretty great sales at times and if you use your Extra Care card on the regular you are sure to accrue special offers. I have been told that the store is dog friendly although I didn't test that out myself. There is a good amount of parking in their wraparound lot. There is a Redbox outside of the main entrance to the left. There is also a drive through pharmacy window option for your convenience.

Amazing! I'm frequently in the doctors office and I couldn't get a quick enough appointment with my regular physician. And my experience was GREAT! They were professional, efficient, and incredibly through. I would highly recommend this facility for any medical needs that can be handled by a Physician Assistant of Nurse Practitioner (shots, infections, sprains/minor injuries, aches and pains).

Dr Joel Fernandez took the time to understand my medical history and fixed me up with a heart monitor. It's frustrating to be dizzy or faint when I get up but I can do this. He said I should eat more salt so I am enjoying some chips. Life is good with salt!

This is a terrible organization. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Reasons:…read moreit's all about the money here. (1) If you're established, you still need to wait months and months to get in with a provider, regardless if the situation is urgent. So if you're wanting to go to a specialist on a "referral" from another department, it doesn't help you get in faster. You're no better than anyone off the street coming in. Even if you ARE established in each department, you will be lucky to see your dr again in a reasonable amount of time, unless pre -booked. This means, you cannot get sick in between! Heck, you can't MISS a followup appointment for ANY REASON because you can't get in for months and months. They relegate your health completely. If you need an appointment with a provider of your choice, you most likely won't get it. (2) it's all about the residents or trainees- USF makes you see these people that are largely inexperienced. You're practiced on. It's a simple as that. Like I said, you often cannot see your original dr if you're in need, unless pre booked on their schedules. They push nurse practitioners, trainees and residents on you who usually aren't privy to the chart. It's like starting over each and every appointment with a new person. It's DANGEROUS. (3)The doctors don't communicate to one another across or within departments. There is no lateral communication at USF. One department doesn't know what the other is doing. Departments refuse to elaborate on testing conducted by other departments and patients get kicked around. USF peddles this BS that your file is viewed by everyone and it's better to stay "in house" for all specialists in order to get better care. This is all smoke and mirrors. The reality is: patients are expected to recite what was done and what other doctors say to the next provider. Patients are expected to qualify their own results as well. No departments speak with each other. They don't care. You're expected to know medical terms and the repercussions associated with your care. No doctor even opens up other physicians' notes or even communicates with other physicians on behalf of the patient. (4) there is no one to complain to. You can call Patient Relations, but nothing changes. It's largely on "deaf ears." Relations Dept is hired and PAID by USF. Let that sink in. They also don't want to give you any phone numbers to any department managers. They keep the patient shut out. Also, Relations won't speak to a physician on your behalf. They only speak to an "Office Manager" who recommends a followup medical appointment, hence more $$$$$. (5) call center agents are badly trained and wait times are long. They will tell you anything not to be wrong, much like the doctors (6) no accountability. USF, per my experience, doesn't apologize. It's always the patients' fault. If they were always right then they'd be world renowned. Case in point. You've been warned.

High-risk patient (aortic stenosis) pressured into trainee surgery -- canceled on surgery day…read more My hernia surgery at Tampa General Hospital was scheduled for February 19, 2026. I have aortic stenosis and was told I'm high risk, so clear communication and informed consent were critical. My pre-admission appointment was February 4, 2026 at 11:30 AM. During pre-admission, I was presented with a disclosure form allowing a student/fellow/resident to perform the surgery. I declined to sign and clearly told staff I did not consent to a fellow/resident performing my procedure. On the day of surgery, while I was being prepared, I was told by Dr. Adham Saad that because TGH is a training hospital, a fellow would be doing the surgery. Dr. Saad said he would be scrubbed in the room "next to the fellow," but he would not be the one performing the operation--only supervising. For a high-risk cardiac patient, that is not calming or reassuring. It felt like a coercive ultimatum: accept a trainee as the primary surgeon or lose your surgery. When I refused again, I was told the surgery would be canceled and that I'd need to find a private doctor/hospital if I wanted only the attending surgeon to perform the operation. If Dr. Saad is already going to be scrubbed in and present, it is unacceptable to pressure a patient--especially a high-risk patient--into a surgery they did not consent to, then cancel at the last minute when they stand their ground. Regardless of being a teaching hospital, patients still have the right to informed consent. This should have been clearly addressed long before surgery day, not when the patient is already prepped and vulnerable. This process caused unnecessary delay, stress, and disruption to my care.
